  1. Would anybody still have it by chance? I wish I could go back in time and save all these gems on some hard drives. Best wishes by the way! KUTGJ BF!
  2. Hey there, if one needs it, it's now available again thanks to Mark : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1x-a7oZE0apTv_I_p7gDjQPbKP5YNCJxc Happy holidays
  3. @Falaise and all, seems like Dragonwyn conveniently zipped everything we need and put a link, that still works, in his OP.
  4. Hey there, is it an M8 Greyhound mod around? I'm reinstalling my WW2 CM series and, man, this is an amazing lot of quality mods! I just can't find a Greyhound reskin though.
  5. Hey there, would anyone have this floating around ? Can't find it on CMMODSIII
  6. Could it be that mod ? Mord & DC’s CW Unit Portraits V.4.0, by Mordante
  7. Hey there, will do it this weekend, busy weeks are keeping me away from CM. Cheers, Claude
  8. Hello Nike Laos, I think you might need to explode the rez file to do so : - from your "C:\Users\*****\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Final Blitzkrieg\User Data\Mods" folder, cut "zHQS_205.brz" file ; - paste it in your ".\Battlefront\Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg\Mod Tools\RezExplode\input" folder ; - go back one level up to your ".\Battlefront\Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg\Mod Tools\RezExplode" folder, then double-click on "RezExplode.exe". Just wait a few moments until an “exploded” folder appears. Inside there you’ll find the contents of the .brz file you just exploded. The files inside the “exploded” folder are the ones you’ll want to consider modding, and later repacking using RezPack. (Reference: CM Engine Manual v3.01.pdf, page 116.) Please note that is not mandatory, brz files are simply loaded last, thus have priority over any file. Unless you have another soldier names mod, don't worry about that right now ; - now cut that extracted "hqs 2.5" folder and paste it back to your "C:\Users\*****\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Final Blitzkrieg\User Data\Mods" folder. It's then ready to be modified as you think best. The files you are looking for are located in your "\hqs 2.5\music" folder by the way. (Si nécessaire, contacte-moi en MP et je te décrirai la manip en français.)
  9. Eventually, here is the French version of that especially interesting scenario. Hopefully, it will make more players have fun with it. > To Verdenne & Victory » CombatMission.fr On my side, I have to be honest : I don't play CM that much, first because it's summer and, quite unbelievably, it's actually sunny here in Belgium so no way to not be outside. Second I'm still learning ropes and anything beyond a platoon to manage is a big deal to me, so such a scenario need several game sessions just to be prepared the way I play it. However, once I'll be "qualified" to play large scenarios, I know I will enjoy it because it's not the typical Bulge scenario, Combatintman made it so interesting for both sides and, last but not least, it happens that this scenario almost takes place in my backyard as I drive by the area quite often and actually can see Verdenne's area from my home office.
  10. @Erwin I think so mate, Worghern have not released any other file after that thus I think that pack is up to date.
  11. Hey there, all credits goes to Waclaw, he is the actual author, I'm only hosting a version of his mod.
  12. Oh sorry, I've overlooked your suggestion. I would love to get it Kinophile.
  13. Nice, learn something new everyday, thanks.
  14. Had yet to enjoy a test ingame, however when opening the mod I saw some file names that might not be recognized by the game "tree-1-leavez [hurtgen].bmp"(should be "tree-1-leaves" afaik). I didn't knew one can use more than one modtag by the way, good to know! Would be happy to translate your scenario and Mod's readme to French by the way.
  15. Well you mastered a new icon creation tool while I sipped beers and watched so you, Sir, deserve all credits! Quick note to the millions of players who will surely download and enjoy the mod, HQ icons aren't tagged in this release version. It was at some point during beta phase, thus the screenshot above. Enjoy!
  16. That's why modding is beautiful ability that Battlefront is to be thanked a thousand time to have given us, thus everyone can make its own boat float.
  17. Just get Winrar do the job guys, it's worth it. Plus, there's zip file posted above if you really can't resort to Winrar.
Enjoie! Merci à Battlefront! -------------------------------------------------------------- As you may have guessed, this is about a Frenchspeaking version of CMBS manual that we, at CombatMission.fr, have just published. Along a thorough localization, 3D preview of each unit is also included. All in all, it's a year long project, started by MikInTheMist. Hopefully, it will allow English impaired French players to force their way through the language roadblock and enjoy the game more. Thank you Battlefront for Combat Mission!
  19. The file you are looking for is named "soldier names german.txt" (as opening the mod mentioned above taught me). Checking [Ref] Final Blitzkrieg v100 files list tells me that the default one is located in "final blitzkrieg v100a\text\soldier names german.txt". So I go get it by copying (not cutting) "final blitzkrieg v100a.brz" from ".\Battlefront\Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg\Data" folder to ".\Battlefront\Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg\Mod Tools\RezExplode\input" folder. Go back one level up to your ".\Battlefront\Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg\Mod Tools\RezExplode" folder, then double-click on "RezExplode.exe". Unless you have another soldier names mod, don't worry about that right now. Now copy that extracted to a new folder you would have created first in your "C:\Users\*****\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Final Blitzkrieg\User Data\Mods" folder. You can name that new folder whatever you want. At that point, you could delete the brz file in your Input folder and the Extracted folder to save some HD space, or keep them here as back up, up to you. Once your "soldier names german.txt" is in your new folder, unleash your inside modding beast and edit it at will (using any text editor, Notepad, Notepad++, whatever). You can use whatever character you want. Just make sure character encoding is ANSI and that file name stay as per default. Now launch your game and feast you eyes on your very (first) own mod. Congrats! No need to edit each scenario by hand by the way, unless you want to edit the briefing itself (which would be probably historical anyway), as the name of your men is only randomly picked from the "soldier names" file. As far as I know of course.
  20. @DasMorbo don't let sadness spoil your me time mate, enjoy HistoryLover's CMRT German Soldier Names as it gives the German units the real names of 1149 Ritterkreuztraeger (owners of the Knight‘s Cross) of Heer and Waffen-SS!, and work on CMFB too.
  21. Neat! Ok, nitpicking here, could the STOP text be white, Pause in blue and Evade in red? Please? KUTGJ Kino, I really the modern feeling it gives.
