  2. Hey there, when on click on the link CMFB Engine 3 (v1.0 through v1.02) on the Patches page, it leads to an Invalid link error page : https://battlefront.sharefile.com/html/en/invalidlink.html Edit : found it! The Wayback Machine saved me here https://battlefront.sharefile.com/share/view/s89768af4cf848e2a/fo79db79-41dc-45d3-b815-67979e082a51 Cheers
  3. Could you please post a new link Lethaface? That one expired. Edit, maybe it's the one IanL posted?
  4. Petit up, maintenant que le jeu est aussi sur Steam. (Shameless up, now that the game is on Steam too.)

  6. Hey Marc, could you please post a screenshot of your current UI? I'm using 2015 Juju’s CMRT UI and it seems to work all right in 4.0 :
  7. Thank you user1000, here's what I did found back then (like 4 weeks ago, man time flies!) https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=47141&sid=570c9b6f023b5ecf7d79552f8fb73190 The Organization and Order of Battle of Militaries in World War II: Volume ... - Charles D. Pettibone - Google Livres http://www.wwii-photos-maps.com/italianarmy/Order of Battle/slides/Italian Army OB 065.html Not much on their envisioned operation or op plan though. I haven't really checked if there's a scenario that puts them on the stand.
  8. While getting to know Audacity for a work project, I came up with a little mod that changes the tunes played in various menu screens. Download (05 March 2019): https://drive.google.com/open?id=13pFdXHEKg_zBvVjd_Pmc8Mmvb26QtBkP All three music files have been downloaded from Youtube using SaveClipBro online converter then Audacity for the actual conversion to CMx2's required format (PCM 16 bits, 44100 Khz, Stereo for music files, mono for any other sound effect). It would work with the whole CMx2 series. - Main menu music (music intro file) from the "War Sound Effects" video by Cho "Choosemeiwin", trimmed. - Battle loading music (music splash file) come from the "Epic Taiko Drum Music" video by Sascha. - AAR music (music end of battle file) is a conversion of "The Last Post by Mark Knopfler" video by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. As usual, decompress the archive and drop the files in your Z or Mods folder. ///
  9. Thanks a lot your Highness @The_MonkeyKing
  10. Looks good Hastati, thanks for sharing it. I feel it works great in conjunction with Kinophile's modern UI. Could you show us the rest of your UI?
  11. - Issue: Referring to the Canadian Army's "Sniping" publication (B-GL-392-005/FP-001, dated from 2006-01-18), Canadian Sniper Teams (C3A, C14, and C15) may have an amount of ammunition that could be optimized. - Situation : From the aforementioned publication : 22. The detachment consists of two sniper teams, each equipped with a Medium Range Sniper Weapon (MRSW)(...)[or] with a Long Range Sniper Weapon (LRSW) for materiel targets or with a Short Range Sniper Weapon (SRSW) (...) 24. The basic ammunition load for a dismounted sniper detachment should be as follows: a. LRSW (50 cal) Match round x 30; b. LRSW (50 cal) Materiel neutralizing round x 30; c. MRSW Match round x 160; d. SRSW Match round x 200; e. 5.56 mm ball x 900; f. 40 mm HE x 24; g. 40 mm smoke x 6; h. 40 mm illumination x 6; i. 9 mm pistol ball x 52; j. Grenade, frag x 4; k. Grenade, smoke x 4; and l. M18A1 Command Detonated Munition (Claymore) x 2. (...) - Suggestions : C3A Sniper Team set the 5.56mm ammunition amount to 450 set the 7.62mm ammunition amount to 100 set the 40x46mm HE to 12 set the 40x46mm HEDP to 0 set the Grenade amount to 2 set the Smoke grenade amount to 2 C14 Sniper Team set the 5.56mm ammunition amount to 450 set the .338 Lapua ammunition amount to 80 set the 40x46mm HE to 12 set the 40x46mm HEDP to 0 set the Grenade amount to 2 set the Smoke grenade amount to 2 C15 Sniper set the 5.56mm ammunition amount to 450 set the .50 Mk211 ammunition amount to 30 set the 40x46mm HE to 12 set the 40x46mm HEDP to 0 set the Grenade amount to 2 set the Smoke grenade amount to 2 - add .338 Lapua rounds to vehicles' ammunition reserves. - as other NATO Sniper team also have a similar basic ammunition load, the suggestions above may be applied to the German and Dutch Sniper teams.
  12. Have that mod been preserved to this day? @Ryujin, would you still have it?
  13. @Mousie, get the CMSF (1) Manuals, there are tactical considerations included. While there is no TOE in the manuals, effective ranges are mentioned. Edit: tailored for CMBS but still worthwhile in CMSF2
  14. Quite the opposite @Frenchy56, thanks to Bootie and Erwin, some long lost mods have already been recovered and made available there.
  15. Thanks to @Bootie it found a new home on CMMODS IV the Warehouse: http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/cm-mod-warehouse/combat-mission-battle-for-normandy/cmbn-vehicles/aris-marder-iii-m/ Thank you again @Doodlebug for keeping it all that time with its Readme and Decals. @Fuser you may last as long as the Internet
  16. From what I can deduce from the editor, the reinforcements are set to arrive in due time. Note that there are two versions of that mission, and it the first... [spoiler follows, highlight to read], the reinforcement arrives with a 5 min span for the two first and half an hour for the last.
  17. I couldn't replicate the issue you had in the campaign Howler. I cannot get the sniper team to have a missile. As you have observed, it seems that all U.S. Army's or Marine Corps' Sniper team have ammunition that doesn't fit with their weapon :
  18. Oh boy! These are absolutely gorgeous and works great in SF2 too! Thanks a lot @Recognition for sharing that archive. @Kieme(ITA) you are a maestro!
  19. Sitting on it for a fortnight didn't help, I'm still on the fence, so I would better let them go and expose 'em to your appreciation. BnCBlackSeaThreatFloaters.7z With Bil's blessing, I've added some colors to the Ukrainian floaters Now the debatable thing is that I've also edited the Russian icons to a blue and red flavor. Ukrainian and Russian shared icons are tagged (ukraine and russia respectively), with tag files inside. While Bil agreed that I pervert his mod, he's in no way responsible for it so if you like it, praise Bil, and if you don't then just blame me. PS: I consider this version as an alpha, I will upload it to the proper repository once I'll feel comfortable considering it done.
  20. @Doodlebug I would love to have it! It may be uploaded by Bootie to the new Warehouse from Erwin's Digital Library of Long Lost Mods at some point but still, on can't have too many sources.
  21. Erwin, nowadays "computer games", a "tactical simulation" in fact, are sold and used as a serious training tool, nothing phony there. Just Google it or something.
  22. @DerKommissar it's VBS3, the pro version of ArmA3, a training platform actually used by several agencies around the world.
