  1. & radios. IIRC M-20s were commonly attached to the HQ of US tank-destroyer units. The M8 Greyhound was the recce vehicle.
  2. Don't think it will work, the bunker is a 'unit' not a 'building' and it has no 'walls' to breach.
  3. Right Click on the game exe, select 'Open File Location' select the folder 'Scenarios' and delete away.....This is in Win7 BTW.
  4. You are in good hands Kaunitz.....These guys will see you through.
  5. If I had to hazard a guess (I don't really TBH, I could just look in Spielberger), I'd imagine this vehicle and the Pz.I Ausf F may have been inspired by the British Matilda Infantry Tanks which gave the Germans a bit of a scare at Arras in 1940: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Arras_(1940
  6. The Germans wasted a lot of resources on silly short-run projects, 'The Maus' being the prime example IMHO.
  7. Not all Panzer 2s were fragile, this one was as tough as a Tiger: http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/panzer-ii-ausf-j/
  8. No worries fella, as and when.....TBH I think I'm probably done with that variant (unless MOS or yourself discover something hideous that I missed) and I will move on to other things (Abdul Gul's War for CM:A) for a bit (I'll will be adding a block at a time to Mosul Mini-Map #2, but doing more than that in each sitting sends my eyeballs wibbly! ).
  9. The latest (NLOS) version of Spike has been getting a lot of attention: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_(missile
  10. Bridging under fire is an option with the AVLB assuming you've got plenty of fire support (in fact it's the whole point), but it's definitely not the safest way to do things. A plausible scenario for an AVLB would be to overcome an anti-tank ditch or berm at the beginning of an offensive (Desert Storm springs to mind), under cover of massive air, artillery and direct fire support.....Cool but not massively utilitarian and given the issues with normal bridges!
  11. Remember, the Russians swim across the water obstacle first, then build the bridge with both banks already secured.....Different bridging philosophy.
  12. Tested.....Better! Pleased. PS - For the very few who might actually care, the precise sunrise time is 05:13hrs.
  13. Did you run through the revised version of 'Ashsh al-Dababir' in the end.....I'd be interested to know if the VPs changed any? (I'd be interested to see your final turn from 'The Heist 'when you have a minute too.)
  14. So, back to scenario two, 'The Heist'.....Had to do some more fiddling in the editor as I realised I hadn't allowed enough time for the first scenario 'Breakout' to take place. 'The Heist' is now set in mid June rather than early May, which led me to an interesting discovery, the sun appears to rise over the mountains at the same time each month, but the skies are noticeably lighter. I've moved the scenario back 15 minutes to 04:15hrs and amended the briefing to note the time the sun appears on the horizon (as closely as the editor allows me to determine), which is now the final turn. I'm not sure how the new light conditions will play out in the scenario, probably in the Mujahideen's favour initially I suspect, but things might get interesting towards the end.....I'll be testing the very latest revision this evening, if anyone wants to join me, please shoot me a PM.
  15. Gotcha.....Don't I feel dumb now! To be fair in CM:A (my main area of interest truth be told) the mission start time is shown there: You should give CM:A a try dude.....Maybe download the demo? I could use the company, that's for sure.
  16. One issue is really perplexing me, the time in 'Ashsh al-Dababir' is set to 16:45hrs.....Why does the automatically generated scenario cover always show 01:30hrs?
  17. Tank phones were the norm and they made a big difference.....Your solution is spot on IMHO.
  18. 'Ashsh al-Dababir' (The Hornets' Nest) is the most advanced, it's in the very final stages of testing, basically fine-tuning the VPs.....MOS & sburke are kindly testing this for me at the moment, I await their AARs to see how I did with the VPs issue. I've just started work on the second scenario, but don't expect much more than teaser images for a month or two.
  19. Leave 'Action & Reaction' for a bit, it's going back on the workbench for upgrading to Mosul standards. When you are ready drop me a PM and give this one a go, I'm still fiddling with the VPs, but it's tricky to explain why without giving major spoilers.
