  1. My hat is off to the mighty @37mm TBH.....You have to admit, that really doesn't look very much like CM:SF2 anymore!
  2. I like dawn & twilight best.....You can use sunrise/sunset to dramatic effect in the game.
  3. German tanks were occasionally known to join US convoys at night (and vice versa).....Just because they can see the Panther doesn't mean for one minute that they can identify it as a Panther. Abstraction my man, abstraction.
  4. This. The CM:BS forum is quite bad enough.
  5. What a total crock! I swapped out my GPU a day or two back and had to relicense a bunch of my games.....It took about fifteen minutes.
  6. All Finnish Stugs have the 531 prefix, it was the 'code' for the type in Finnish service.....531-3 was a MIAG manufactured StuG-40 from the first batch of thirty purchased by the Finns, it was destroyed in Nurmilampi, Tali, June 28th 1944: http://www.andreaslarka.net/sturmi.html For all your Sturmi needs.
  7. Chill dude.....Most of us are rather more mature than to take such reporting at face value. Some of the members here have very direct knowledge of the actual realities on the ground and I don't see them repeating the drivel we read in the western press.
  8. Sweet.....I'm going to be working on the delta map all weekend, so expect some eye-candy before too long (I'm off to check my Vietnamese highway settlement references now).
  9. Yup, that's my (limited) understanding too.....My learned colleague @37mm has created several tags for this mod, which I'm trying to learn to use correctly, so that you will genuinely be able to 'Rock 'em from the delta to the DMZ'. PS - @37mm Did you figure the Delta tag out yet? (I'm guessing so from the video above) If so I'll make some postcards of the new map. PPS - I'm gonna put out a shout to @dragonwynn here.....I know he was looking at making a North Korean campaign using CM:BS, but IMHO the tools we have here for the CM:SF2 engine would be much more suitable.
  10. Nice looking maps fella.....Haven't had time to dive into the scenarios properly yet, but I'm impressed with the way you've put them together and they are very pleasing to the eye when you open them up.
  11. Blimey, this agreeing thing is happening quite a lot these days.....I must be mellowing!
  12. I heard that! PS - Cheers for your help elsewhere, much appreciated.
  13. Many thanks.....Once I've finished off my current Bong-Hai map I'm turning my attention to Bishr and the OSIRIS storyline for a while.
  14. Open a ticket with support, I'm confident they'll sort you out so that you can upgrade everything to CM:SF2.
  15. I've seen infantry squads get split by tall walls in CM:SF2, but that was prior to the two recent patches, so I've no idea if it still happens.....It was not a common occurrence for me, but when it did happen it was reasonably consistent and removing the offending section of wall instantly fixed it.
  16. Yup. Most of the late war antitank gun carriages were a bit useless TBH.....Take this one for instance (Ardelt Waffentrager): Allegedly its inventor died in it during an 'operational test'. https://heroesandgenerals.com/forums/topic/84349-kruppardelt-waffenträger-88-cm-pak-433-l71/
  17. How about the 'tank-destroyer' version too: Damn those things were slow though!
  18. While I like the rest of your concept a lot, I'm not convinced about this bit, the Black Sea is Russia's pond.....Their anti-ship missiles are very, very good and they have plenty of them.
  19. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery. My condolences on losing your dog too.....That's hard to take, even when you are in the best of health.
