It is questionable how much suppression one unit can do in 60 seconds. This has not been the first time this has been suggested on the forum and I always wonder what folks are thinking. Using the OP example using an afv to walk fire along a hedge. By the time your fire hits the end of the hedge odds are any units at the beginning have shaken off suppression assuming you were even able to suppress them. The amount of fire it takes is a little more than what this request seems to apply. My perspective is if you need to suppress that much territory, you need more units doing the suppression. i once beta tested Sacrifice for a new religion (CMBN) with another tester. I needed to suppress the defenders in a few buildings in order to advance on this monastery. I had 2 full companies and I had everyone targeting something along with mortars. A person in the room who could hear my opponents game was floored at the amount of fire being output. I still failed. My point is if you aren’t concentrating fire, you aren’t suppressing and odds are your tank is gonna get lit up. CMBS is far less forgiving than the WW2 variants for armor. Area fire typically covers 3 action squares. That is 24 meters or approx 75 feet. That is a lot of space to suppress in 60 seconds.

ack, a MAC user! Sorry really unfamiliar with the OS, but either see the notes above or contact the helpdesk. I know on the PC side how to create an activation shortcut, but not on MAC side assuming it isn't there. That -showui is pretty much it on the PC side.

Well it is a question for sure. For example for the battle packs a good portion of the pay content is the maps so "hacking" the game to get maps that you haven't paid for is questionable behavior. You don't however get the full content in terms of scenarios and campaigns obviously. That is one of the reasons I don't touch the conversions. BF would have to say whether they have an issue or not but for me it crosses a personal line.

open a ticket, there is likely little anyone here is going to help you with. I have followed the BF instructions re installing CMSF on several machines and never had an issue. I am and have been on windows 10 a while now so I doubt that specifically is your issue. Good news is it does work and I am sure BF can get you up and running.

That is possible as it is the ToE for CMBN that was pushed to the other two. Not saying it is a bug, just that there is a single origination source.

The net effect would actually be probably the opposite. You’d take a two minute turn and still issue the same orders so you’d have twice the file size and half the action. Extend that to 5 minutes and I think you’d find you would be getting bored. You can already do the challenge by only issuing commands every other turn.
