  1. No, it is for CMBN. Check this out: http://community.battlefront.com/topic/120281-preview-of-the-first-battle-pack/
  2. They didn't spot it at all. The were positioned behind a house in the open and the tank parked right behind them. Even though the had a cover arc to the opposite side I would have expected either: 1) turn around and fire that bazooka - probably the best chance of surviving; or 2) run into the house and hide.
  3. I remember a similar case way back when BN was new. I had a bazooka-team with a cover arc (no armor arc back then) forward 45 degrees. They didn't spot or react to a tank that parked right behind them. Can it be a case of arcs and really close distances that causes the problem? Thanks for taking a look at it.
  4. I didn't quite remember correctly. It wasn't a full turn before they spotted the tank, but way to late IMHO. But the tank spotted them instantly. What is a buttoned Sherman's spotting ability to the side/rear? Here is the file. It is a PBEM without password, just press ENTER. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6y0gwp2hms76r0y/~Termoli new 082.ema?dl=0 It is the HQ down by the railroad station. Try selecting the HQ and tank back and forth to check spotting.
  5. I knew it would appeal to you. Dying gloriously is your MO - right I would like to think that one grenade was enough to freak it out so it backed into some Pz IV fire.
  6. The house they were in previously was about two actions squares back from the screenshot. So I rushed forward using a house as cover (which is just to the left of the screenshot) while the tank had its back to the intended assault position. The screenshot show that the tank managed to both spot and turn around, before my men even spotted it. They finally did when one man remained, who lobbed a granade and then died. I'll check for save.
  7. That does look weird with the cover arc (could it be the low camera angle that cuts out the near part?). Didn't notice myself. IIRC they were a four man HQ so no one is missing from the shot. They had spotted the tank from their previous position so they knew it should be there or thereabouts. Reason for the unit being marked in the top one was to show they couldn't see the tank and the bottom one is no unit at all marked, which I guess is what my opponent/tank saw, since it turned around and killed my team. I'm afraid I have no more screenies.
  8. I had a very strange spotting issue in a current game. An HQ spotted, and fully identified a tank, just some 20 m away, with its back turned to them. I was kinda desperate so I decided to run around a house, away from the tank's front, to lob a few granades on it. I had a armor only cover arc just in case. I arrived at the spot and the tank was gone. I sat there for a full turn and couldn't figure it out... ... well, it was there all along and made my pay for it in hot led. Strange that they neither saw it or heard it. Especially after having previous knowledge of its presence.
  9. Yeah, when in doubt - coffee, and then some more. In fact, I should get a cup now. And play some more H2H. Surviving in BS requires some really strong brew.
  10. Nice. Actually I thought of Band of Brothers before reading your comment - so I guess your intention was a success.
  11. Thanks A LOT umlaut. I've missed them since forever. A soon as a non-modded Sherman turns up among modded ones it makes my eyes hurt. Not that the original is ugly, it is just that the difference is so stark that it looks like they are not in the same battle.
  12. I'd like to echo spawncaptain's praise for the scenario. I just finished it. The AI did some surprising movements that forced me to rethink my plans on the fly. The only "flaw", which isn't Imperial Grunt's fault but the game engine, is that armored vehicles/tanks that survive precision artillry when stationary in the open just stay put instead of seeking cover. I guess it is due to that vehicles can't panic, but only crews, and as they are safe behind armor they don't sense the urgency. Well done I G
  13. Today, Alexiyevich was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature, probably the most prestigeous award in literature in the world.
  14. Great job. I will submit to TPGII soon. Bootie, do I need seperate accounts for each or does an account at FGM cover them all? Is the FGM sign up the one at the forum?
  15. As far as I'm concerned, how bunkers are treated in game could do with an overhaul - see the thread "Titanium Bunker" over at CMFI-forum.
  16. I actually think I've seem troops in bunkers surrender - but it is very rare. While making my Assault on Merville battery I think I saw it. Maybe there is a difference between AT bunkers (that I used) and MG bunkers?
  17. Nice work Hapless - good production value I like the letterbox view. Makes it cinema-like. But I do think you move the camera around too much. I know you record on the go, but it makes me a bit dizzy Now for the third part.
  18. Nope, always on Sundays. http://www.twitch.tv/chrisnd
  19. Cool evidence. I've seen the list on the left change once, but never the unit's "name".
  20. No, I log in with "rocketman" (no capital letters) and the newly set password.
  21. Perhaps I should have been more clear in the first post, apart from the title, but it concerns an android phone (Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - Chrome browser). No star near the search button there.
  22. I still like the old feature better. This is more of a hassle, and it resets so that you have to select topics over again for each visit.
