  1. Great news - just in time for when autumn kicks in and the daylight starts to vanish. Perfect time for some serious gametime. In sburke's first screenshot, am I right that there are some new buildings?
  2. Great Jon! After a quick look it seems to be great resources. Just have to figure out how to best use them. They should be pinned (along with other map making resources) in the respective Maps and Mods forums. Hopefully that can encourage more people to try their hand at map/scenario/campaign making.
  3. You can always tune in for ChrisND's Twitch-broadcasts on (some) Sundays. Sometimes he shares some news, and even show games in the making before it turns up on the official homepage. He gave glimpses of Black Sea there first. Huowever, as stated above maybe they hesitate to do that with Bulge. There is a thread somewhere, can't remember now which, that shows of some of the vehicle models. Looks really good.
  4. What a great resource. Map making heaven Wish there was a similar one for all the countries we have battles in. Maybe there is. I've been looking, but not found great ones like this yet.
  5. Thank you - it was a strange situation in which a entire squad got caught in a hellish barrage and then everything went quiet and this is what I saw. It felt so real. So true. I love these immersive moments.
  6. Ideally, the UI in the next CM-game will have a larger button or display all available assets right away.

Sometimes I miss the fact that I have more artillery assets than the max five that can be shown, especially if the briefing isn't clear on the point or when reinforcements arrive and I don't pay enough attention ( ) . Most of the time I realize the fact, but then I miss out on the chance of using it for preplanned missions on turn one. So I asked Juju for permission (granted, thank you) to make a slight change to the button that shows more assets, so that is sticks out more. I added a red border to make it appear from the background better. I used more or less the same red color as the texts and the red the arrow changes to when moused over. I think the border also makes the arrow less confused at a quick glance to the green dots for tubes. If you think it will help you as well it is attatched to this message. Put in Juju's UI folder, buttons and support roster buttons and remove the old one. It also works for CMFI and CMRT. roster right arrow.bmp

  9. Just thought I'd check, but I can't find any building mods for CMFI - are there any floating around? I am interested because I'm about to embark on a CMFI project including Messina. More on that later on.
  10. IIRC no one has yet made a compilation with pictures of flavor objects for CMFI. Also, I think dead horses and cattle was implemented in RT and is not in FI (yet).

  13. Check out Preambulator's videos on Youtube. They helped me a lot in making my first scenarios and getting over the intimidation factor of the editor.

  15. IIRC someone about half a year ago, mentioned making a scenario of Overloon. Wonder what became of that?
  16. I think all those scenarios were made before the MG became more accurate in a patch. That would make them much harder.
  17. I checked in the editor, and what I get is that the MT-LBM transport vehicle in the MANPADS battery carry extra ammo for the Igla.
  18. Two questions: Do any vehicles carry extra ammot for Igla, Igla-S? Or are they one shot weapons? Ukrainian 152 mm Howitzers have Gran HE ammo. What does it do? Nothing about it in the manual.
  19. Cool idea. Is "A nice cup" an hommage to ChrisND?
  20. I hope they could go back to that without needing to much programming. As it is now, they can always shoot back if a juicy target gets close, when they really should be hugging the floor.
