  1. Thanks Pete for hunting down the hunt solution. I guess the same ought to go for slow movement.
  2. With the pause in numbers like the command showing?
  3. I hadn't selected multiple units and no other unit replicates the movement/behaviour of this unit. Neither added a pause. The only parameters I can think of is multiple waypoints, tiredness and the armor only cover arc. I'll post a save.
  4. OK, thought so. In my current PBEM, a Jav team has on a few turns added pauses on their own. Last turn they added 1:30 paus in the middle of a playback turn. First ... ... and then Do you want a save to look at?
  5. If units who carry large equipment, such as Javs, get tired - do they automatically add pauses, just like the command? Can't remember that I've seen/noticed it before.
  6. So I got the app for iPad. Hopefully pics will look better on it than on a Kindle-device. Any suggestions for "must read" books that cover any of CM*2 theaters? Preferably books with maps and depiction of smaller scale combats that can be turned into scenarios?
  7. Then you should try French grammar - oh la la, c'est dur (or something like that ...)
  8. Thanks for the replies. @ StieliAlpha, do you know of any region restriction to Kindle books since you are in Europe like me?
  9. I do appreciate all the hard work you do and at your own expesnes at that. I guess one is always thinking of what an optimal solution would be, without taking into consideration that someone has to do the hard work. If you go back to my original thoughts in the firs post - would that fit into the current template for the webpage?
  10. That is awful to hear, but glad he is on the mend. It always makes you think when real life throws you a sucker punch. Stay strong buddy! I think his PM-box is full. I got the message that he can't receive messages when trying to send one.
  11. I'm thinking about getting the Kindle app for my iPad. Are most military history books (old and new) released for Kindle? Are books purchased in one Amazon store locked to that region? Recommended?
  12. Interesting word. IMO it is common for people to "suffer" from sehnsucht in modern society. Not ever being content with the here and now - not living in the present.
  13. That and "Patton's Best" were my "foundation". I'll pass on the eggnog. I prefer Swedish "glögg" for x-mas. Heidi can come along though.
  14. It is! The "Purple Heart" edition. Well spotted. For me it was the beginning of interest in squad based battles.
  15. A merry x-mas c3k-style Anyone recognize this one from "back in the day"?
  16. Great news - what a way to start the week. Official AARs soon?
  17. Thanks sttp for volunteering. No hurry though. It is a tiny 35 min CMRT battle with few units called "the Last Resort". PM me if you want to know more or provide feedback that way.
  18. TPG was launched a while back, and as a scenario maker I welcomed the initiative. I'm curious to know what people think of it and how it works and can be improved. I have submitted one scenario and to this date it has been downloaded 40 times in about 5 weeks. I have yet to receive any feedback ... I know people are busy and scenario testing might not be on top of their "want to do"-list. Feedback though is vital to become better at scenario making. Playing your own creation as a test is seldom really productive beyond a certain point. You basically know too much about it and need "a fresh set of eyes" on it. It can even be hard to tell if it is fit for release as it is or utter crap that doesn't deserve to fill up space on someone else's hard drive. For me, the main problem with TPG as it is, is that I have no clue who has downloaded the scenario and in an indirect way said "I might be willing to do some testing". Thereby I can't contact them and ask what they think (even the shortest comment - good/decent/awful) or if they pass on doing tests - which is perfectly ok. It might be better to have a few people PM me instead to open up a dialogue about the scenario. Is this something TPG can facilitate? So, you who have submitted - what are your thoughts? Have you received feedback? Was it helpful?
  19. I'm starting to think the delay is somewhat caused by BFC wanting to do an overhaul of the website and the store. The battle pack for BN was due a long time ago and for sure it doesn't include any tech changes. I'm hoping for lots of news, Bulge AAR in the forum, releases and so on in the near future.
  20. Started this H2H as the Soviets. I'm not clear on whether I should exit forces or if that is for retreating Germans?
