  1. I noticed this strange behaviour. Note that it is at the edge of the map, but still ... The vapour trail suddenly does a 90 degree turn while the rocket continues on its trajectory. Why? Is it a bug or because of edge of map restraints? Would this affect the chance of hitting the target?
  2. Well, there are two fords (look under water), but the position they are in are not very helpful to the US side.

  4. Just wanted to say that infantry only H2H games in CMBS is a lot of fun. Currently playing a QB in dense urban setting with US vs Russian infantry and it is a lot of fun and full of tactical decisions. And boy, the firefights are much more intense than tank battles IMO.
  5. Problems has occured with recently started games. Games in progress (past set up) work ok.
  6. OK, then I have at least four accounts of people having problems recently.
  7. In the past few days, I have, and I know of others too, have had problems with PBEM files not syncing properly with Dropbox and CM Helper. Files have also disappeared completely. Just want to check if any other have had problems recently. Maybe there has been updates to Dropbox that causes the problems.
  8. I'm still not clear, after searching the manual, how information is shared between units concering what an UAV spots. If one unit controls the UAV and can spot an area - will another unit plotting an artillery strike in that area be assisted in the spotting procedure? From my (albeit limited) experience, when planning precision arty information is shared. But when calling in a regular arty mission the spotting phase is not helped as much. Does the unit controlling the UAV at all assist in this?

  10. The manual states that: "Observe missions have a much higher chance of detecting enemy targets if set to a Point target, which will encompass a 50m diameter circle. Area targets cover much more ground but have a lower resolution. Linear missions function like area missions." So why set a linear target if it has the same poorer resolution of an area target, but covers less area? Does an area target less thatn 50 m diameter still have the poorer resolution or is 50 m diameter, the cut-off point even for area target?

  13. I can't see black holes either. Usually I can see decals for small caliber guns but not the larger ones. I have a GTX 670MX.

  15. Hahaha, just saw the topic mistake I made - hot decals - what would that be?
  16. IIRC the patch for BS was supposed to fix that hit decals wasn't always visible. I still can't see them a lot of times. I use Kieme's mods for all vehicles. Could that be the problem? Anyone else has this problem still?

  18. It is a great scenario for H2H. Who designed it? Great job whoever it was.
  19. To make canal banks less jagged you might try putting mud there as it smooths it out in some cases, as well as having a less steep bank (same elevation in water and bank). But that might make it less of a canal look.
  20. I guess the community can wish and hope for Kieme or TanksALot (am I forgetting someone..) who have made some great building mods to take their magic to the Italian front. Please
  21. I like the idea of autumn leaves and they look good. However, a couple of problems for me. There should be autumn color for trees in the distance. They appear green and then switch color as you come closer. Some trees, like birches, should have the same color to give the right autumn impression. Ideally, but that is a major mod, is that the terrain overall should be more desaturated, and grass less green, crops not in bloom etc. Apart from that - good job and I appreciate the effort.
