Sequoia got a reaction from DougPhresh in CMRT Module 1 Bones
You may propose anything you wish, and I doubt you'd be surprised you're far from the first to propose something with the IDF. Politics may indeed have something to do with it, but I think it's mostly to do with the BFC team's interest and the sales potential.

I found the post. It was Chris "NormalDude" ND when he had Elvis's job, not Steve, and he did state in all caps it was subject to change:

Remember, Eisenhower once worked for MacArthur.

I found another cover image:
That's a Hungarian Flag so probably still not the Russian game cover. But I found it as the icon for this page:

Also did you guys know there was a book that covered strategy written for CMBB: https://www.amazon.com/Combat-Mission-Barbarossa-Berlin-Strategy/dp/B0063T9GZC
I didn't - cool!

Announced projects they're working on:
Red Thunder End of War Module
Final Blitzkrieg Commonwealth and End of War Module
Black Sea US and Russian Marine module.
Lots to keep them busy for at least two more years I'd say. Anything beyond that I doubt BFC will share before the next New Years bones post from Steve.

The model's faces look like they need to be re-oriented.
The textures also obviously need to be re-assigned, but that you know. I'd do that after any fixes on the model. Unless you like swearing.

Hi
I´ve been trying to mod the boxcar that Aquila has shared into a WWII boxcar, but there are some strange shades/glares on it - and neither of us have any idea how to get rid of them.
Aguila suggested that @sbobovyc or @37mm might know how to fix this.
Also the texture seems a lot more blurry than other textures.
Any ideas?

T34s are still being fired up on youtube. Panthers couldn't make it 100 miles w/o mechanical issues. You may want to think about that last sentence.

Well I don't think the Pershing was too little too late as the Allies won the war. Just as more Panthers would have been better than the King Tiger, lots and lots of the reliable Shermans was an excellent strategy. Tank vs Tank duels was only a small part of what Tanks were used for. Even vs the Panther the Sherman the had the advantage of at least being more likely to get there when you needed it. I think people underestimate how much maintenance has to be performed on heavy tracked vehicles.

Yeah I've been trying to find the screenshot I thought I saw a Kuebelwagen with a roof and can't now. Probably a hallucination. I actually have had Combat Mission dreams by the way.

You can also use them to jump over barbed wire fences during escape attempts as long as they're not too big.

With that quality detective work, perhaps you could write a song about detectives.

After a looooong hiatus from Combat Mission, and then hand/wrist surgery, I finally got back to this and finished the dpm woodland camo. I will upload them as soon as I get the readme and whole package together and squared away with Bootie/CMMODS. Tomorrow maybe. Mtp camo will follow but not sure how soon.
First two pics are with shaders/shadows on. The other two are with them off (well, shaders might be on in the last one, not sure).
Cheers!.

Wart weren't you Puritans down on Christmas? I know you were in favor of bones though, especially seeing your enemies bones.

Sequoia got a reaction from A Canadian Cat in What makes this module worth buying?
In Combat Mission players press forward despite casualties that would cause real life counterparts to call it a day.
