  1. Plenty of examples of the German's using wadi's /balkas /defiles in all three of the Panzer Ace's books on all fronts. Lots of other ref's out there as well...
  2. However, you can "bail out" a tank crew so as to scout ahead on foot. After which, you can re-mount that tank and kill the quarry you found scouting on foot. Just adding this as some might not be aware of this being possible.
  3. Actually I think CMx2 is awesome as is, it can be a whole lot more with an op layer. My comments were in response to what kino mentioned. For me I just do not like the late war stuff (late 44 to the end), never have. Having said that, I will be getting the CMFI module to complete that set, not sure what year that will cover?? Just like I will support CMBN and CMRT additions. When it comes to CMFB and a CMBerlin, not my cup of tea.
  4. CM is WEGO only for me. If I want RT, I can startup a Total War series game for that fix. Just saying...
  5. I found these links: (sorry if they are of no help) http://tinyurl.com/32k86w6 http://www.history.army.mil/books/staff-rides/kasserine/vol-i-part_1.pdf http://tinyurl.com/j79rz4f Not sure if they will do you any good, worth a shot. All that I could find time for...
  6. Yep, been thumping that drum forever... one of these days... North Africa (41-43) and Barbarossa /Kursk. No interest in a Berlin CM or for that matter FB. The only late war module I am looking forward to is CMFI's. Luckly, the titles I do own will keep me going until what I mentioned above hopefully happens.
  7. This reminds me of my younger days when a friend of mine jokingly went up to the info booth at the mall and asked to have 'Mike Hunt' paged... The poor girl. Good times!
  8. This might not help or even be related, I might as well mention it though, For my nVidia cards (desktop and laptop) turning off FXAA made my text readable for briefings and such. With it on the text was fuzzy /blurry making it unreadable.
  9. Wittmann and many other Panzer Aces did it whenever they could.
  10. Ok here is my Dropbox link for CMRT Campaigns that I have... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r0s3a121dr5e7uk/AABpALgsHzA48S7ySIXvgS4Xa?dl=0 I see SDIII will have these uploaded eventually, so I will have this link up for a week or two only. I would recommend downloading these files again from SDIII when ready, as all I have uploaded are the .cam files not the mods /fluff that were included by the designers. Cheers.
  11. BINGO!... I was wondering if someone was going to mention this. However it is ctrl + left click.
  12. I appreciate all the efforts transferring the Repository scenarios and campaigns to SDIII. However why are the files being renamed with dashes in them? For me I can't tell if I have already downloaded these files as they download without an overwrite warning since they have dashed added to the file now. Then when I open the compressed file and transfer the contents into the appropriate folder I have to confirm a duplicate overwrite... this is frustrating to say the least as I cannot tell, right off the bat, if I need to download the file or not. Thanks again for the transfer of the files though, it is much needed.
  13. Fantastic. Love the look of naked PzIII's sans skirts.
  14. Nice... Is it an option to be able to remove sideskirt bmp's on my part when playing?
  15. Methinks Rommel needs some 88's support in that vid no? Seeing the Fox in this game almost brings a tear to me eye... or would that be from the sand??
  16. I wouldn't know as I only play German units, but I think every unit can pop smoke. I assume you want to be able to chuck'em farther? If that is your wish, as a German unit only player (for the most part) I would want the same function for German units as well, just to keep it a fair game.
  17. CM BATTLETECH!.... I don't care who's mods to use!... make it so! Lol, I just stumbled across this thread searching for some info on The Road to Montebourg "Redux" and I couldn't help but chime in.
  18. I guess it would be safe to include it again? It does not say Redux so it overwrites the original .cam file. It must have improvements to the original file. A note about the campaign 'In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow'... The downloaded rar file was loaded with a mod folder that the designer included. I did not include that in my upload as the file was very large. Instead I just uploaded the .cam file.
  19. No I don't think they are, not sure?? Task Force Raff was accidentally included, it's deleted from the file now. Road to Mounteburg was a rar file as were most of the rest of the files (zip /rar /7z), I just assumed that file was downloaded since it was a rar extension, so not sure about that one. If there are more please let me know. Sorry peeps. EDIT: I cleaned up the file a bit more, it seems there were some duplicate files in it.
