    Well spotted on the scenario.
    Still got a tactical victory.
Only points I didn't get was for not keeping 80% of my force intact. Didn't get my calculator out but I suspect this was the incident that took me over the line.

I know that in the great scheme of VPs etc. that this doesn't matter (I think) but I'm curious.
I played a scenario in which I took only two casualties.
Both had the light red cross base (as opposed to the dark red skull & crossbones) so both wounded rather than dead.
One was buddy aided off and one wasn't (scenario ended soon after he was wounded).
In the AAR I expected to see 2 wounded, 0 dead.
But actually there was 1 wounded and 1 dead.
So what happened to my pixeltruppen? They don't die if you don't buddy aid them (as far as I'm aware - I've had loads of non-buddy aided wounded before and they weren't all dead in the AAR).
    Can they expire after evac?
Either case would be realistic but they don't go from wounded to dead during a game, so why after?
Never noticed it before as there's usually too many casualties. Only noticed here because of the low numbers.
    Which one expired and why?

IIRC there is a 1 in 4 chance for a wounded casualty to die after the scenario ends if not buddy aided. So if you have four wounded men, chances are at least one of them will die. Eight wounded, two will probably die, etc. You just got unlucky with that one guy.
It doesn't affect anything otherwise, but it can be fun to see how far you can keep your KIAs down during a scenario.
Wounded casualties can also be killed during a scenario too. I've seen wounded casualties get hit by bullets and die, or get killed when an artillery shell lands right on top of them, etc. I've even seen pixeltruppen shoot wounded casualties on the ground and kill them almost like they did it on purpose. It can be kinda funny sometimes.

Ok, uploaded. The clips are not exactly "big screen" quality but should make you greedy enough. 😆 And just for the fun of it, I uploaded 2 clips of the Churchill Crocodile in action, too.
You may need the VLC Media Player or similar to watch the AVI files. My «normal» Windows player did not want to play them.

I‘ll try to make a video with a flail Sherman and load it to the Dropbox. Tonight or tomorrow or so....

Saw him do it live in 1983. (Probably 1983, possibly 1984)

    Isn't this technically cheating?
I try to do this to stop all my tanks getting damaged tracks.
I think @JoMc67 just told me one of his.
Of course, they could just have invisible tanks. đŸ˜Č

It would help a lot if they just muted the sound of the fence breaking, if you are not spotting the enemy tank that does it. Just like the sound of the tank itself is muted if when you're not spotting it.
Then the fence would still break, and you'd be able to see it, but you probably wouldn't notice it.

I was playing a H2H scenario in which my opponent had more than 20 tanks going down a slope and disappearing behind a hill. Good for me there was a wooden fence some distance in front of a forest. By keeping an eye on that fence I could see how it got broken up on different sections and understood from that where some of those tanks were heading although the tanks were consealed by he hill. This helped to decide in what direction I should point two of my AT-guns.

Yeah, but you can try and fake a breach at one location, then have your real main attack breach another location...That will show me :-)

And if I recall right, there are even two scenarios for the flail tanks.đŸ€”
The VP is a „questionable investment“, more like a collectors item. You don‘t need it, but you have to have it.😎

Actually, research reveals that it is a word according to some dictionaries.
But it's an adjective, not a verb.
So if you are unsurrendering, it means you are the indominable sort who doesn't surrender.
It doesn't mean you surrendered but have now changed your mind. I'm not sure there actually is a word for that.
    There. I've learned another thing.Â đŸ€“

If it is not a word, what is it? It sure does look like a word, I even understand it
Perhaps not a formally recognized and bureaucratically legalized word, but those are the best ones me thinks.

My halftracks are now firing with gay abandon.
    Thank you.
But the tank crews who were sitting around making tea are very upset with @Warts 'n' all.

Funny you should mention that. I was wondering that last night. Never actually tried it.
That's actually pretty useful. I've got quite a few crews sitting around.
I've also got a couple of tanks with the MA and MG out so I've just returned them to the rear. So they could dismount and man the halftracks.
(I've considered having the neutralised tanks advancing with everyone else to provide extra targets but that seems ruthless, unsporting and more than a bit gamey)

@John 1966Yes, flail tanks were introduced in the Vehicle Pack. And are used in a couple of community made campaigns, "For King and Country" which is set in June and "Operation Clipper" which is in the Autumn.
Meanwhile remember that dismounted tank crew can be used in your M5s if they have got nothing better to do. Of course, being from the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry they might head off to the nearest radio to check the footy results ... East Fife 4 - Forfar 5.

I bought the BN Bundle, but a quick check suggests they're part of the 'Vehicle Pack' which perhaps you don't have?

Warts beat me to it—probably cuz he cheats by living across the pond with its “earlier” time zones—but yes, John, you have to open some of them up. The ones not shooting.😉

I've just run a little test. In this battle some of your M5s contain both a Rifle Section and a Platoon HQ.
When you give a Target and Open Up command to the M5 one of the riflemen will man the gun and fire. In a later turn if you dismount the Rifle Section a member of the HQ Section will then take over on the gun without a new Target order needing to be given. Even if you then dismount the HQ the Target order remains in place, and firing will resume when you remount.
    Happy shooting.
