First deployed them in Crete to great effect IIRC.
Yeah, the PĆ¼ppchen, use it like a panzershreck with wheels. Longer range and more ammo, I like the PAW better.
{EDIT} It was introduced in 1943 and almost immediatly rendered obsolete by the Panzershreck.
Maybe the traverse mechanisms, in later models manual only, weren't strong enough.
Plus, it follows the all-or-nothing armor philosophy, if you've no armor, you'll have to hit something in the turret, or with something big.
Yes that's what we're talking about. The INDIVIDUAL soldier being modeled like a regular squad in CM.
To get an idea, play Close Combat. It's very fun, but the RTS aspect is pretty lame sometimes.
I'm going to have to update my bravest actions here.
Just got done playing my slightly edited version of Knife fight at Cercino (Sp?).
I had one of my Shermans pop out from behind a building to ambush a Tiger and it turns out the Tiger's gun was facing the Sherman! I thought the Sherman was a goner but, the 88 shell BOUNCED OFF at 30 meters on a hit on the front glacis.
I'm still awestruck by the luck my Sherman got there :>
Yeah maybe not the bravest but certainly the coolest
Hehe.
Playing the tutorial I've noticed that my WSC couldn't get at one of the Breda MMGs because they had ZERO exposure!
They finally surrendered after I dropped a mortar round right into their foxhole.

Yes, trust me, it did suck ass when it came out, but now it's better, alot better.

Although the AVRE is fun to play with, the Sturmtiger in CMBB is even funner to play around with.
If a tank can rout an entire Company of Soviet Marines without a single casualty, you know it's not supposed to be in game
