Which is another way to say that if you are concentrating on particular weapons systems  instead of aggregate economic/military/diplomatic aid than I think you are doing it wrong.

Hi all, its been a while... in fact so long that I had to create a new account for the Forums... Anywho I started revamping some of my old work so it will play better in Game Engine 4.x and also I am back to creating some new scenarios (some fictional, some semi-historical)... Also redid my Combat Mission Site (haven't touched it in 7 years)... Since I lost touch with all the people that use to playtest for me I ask if you have feedback; Good, Bad, and/or Ugly that you submit that via the Feedback button in the site's menu... I have done extensive testing on the vs. AI battles but, the Head to Heads I have not been able to test... Well I am active again, who knows for how long but I do have a lot of time on my hands and a lot of scenarios/campaigns on the production schedule...  You can check every thing out at Fredrockers Combat Mission Site ... The obvious guesses are CM3, France1940,or a Brand new Eastern Front game , but Steve said 999 guesses will be wrong , so it must be something not obvious. My  money is still on it is CM3 but not WW2 , just like CM2 was Syria...............as much as Steve denied it could be done ................its CM3  Viet Nam. 

I am content to wait and see.

No its not, its part of the game. Opposing forces quite often fire on one another without seeing each other. Often referred to as suppressive or harassing fire. Although it does give the player an advantage vs the AI since the AI doesnt do this.
But if you dont like area targeting thats fine too, find an opponent that will play by this odd rule. Just dont expect something like this in any tourney.

I liked most of the scenarios, in particular those of the 2nd and 3rd round were all excellent, I will go faster by pointing out the only one which frustrated me a little: RT 2nd round, the one where we had Tigers there where we were waiting for KingTigers, and I didn't know that the German had an exit zone.
I had the chance to have opponents in all the scenarios, even if due to the slow rate of dispatch of some of them, we were not able to complete some battles (I play quickly because CM is the only game installed on my PC, the only one I bought, it's still a lot: 6 games).
All my opponents were very good players, only one who was a little dizzy had forgotten his reinforcements at the bottom of the map in the last RT scenario. The battles were particularly difficult, and fought like a game of chess in the last 3 scenarios of the 3 games.
I didn't have any unexpected behavior from the AI, except on BN where my last Panzer near the ruins of the bridge looked for its way in a disorderly and fatal movement. But what a battle my friends! Attacks and counter-attacks 💥 neither of us wanted to give up, it was epic💢
My opponent on the last CW scenario was also particularly tough👍, suspenseful at every turn 🥶nervously exhausting😬.
In RT I checked the rule: tanks attacking a fortified position must not be alone, infantry must precede them. My opponent lost all his T34s, thanks to the PanzerSchek/Faust (my Marder each took a T34 to their grave), while I only lost one T34 by a hit from the artillery. I was about to take all the objectives in both games but we exceeded the time limit while we had around ten turns left.
Will all of these scenarios be available to everyone after the tournament ends?
The excellent instructional videos from Usually Hapless, and the background articles from Mr. Mark Goddard published on the Matrix website, and relayed by Elvis, were very useful to me. I hope we get more.

That last battle was excellent! I took the field with the Soviets but took heavy losses. I did manage to hold the line as the Axis but still took heavy losses. Fun stuff, love it! 👍

I did pick the CMBN tourney in his double combo tourney. I just dont have the time to play both. Wish I did as these are excellent fun and a good test of ones tactical skills. These are truly blind, no way for players to peek or pre-play the battles before hand.
Also just wanted to say thanks for the battles from my opponents. I snagged 2nd place in this one but the battles were very hard fought. Enjoyed these very much, cya in the next one! 👍
