  1. OK... My lack of language skills comes into place... some of my reference material HERE states on page 282 the 'outskirts of Gemuenden',,, Based upon more intense scrutiny of your question I realize that maybe the reference material maybe wrong... The area I am trying to define for the battle ' Skirts at Gemuenden' is in the northeast of Lohr around the area just west of Neuendorf. I will be changing the name of the battle as not to confuse anyone. Thanks @JM Stuff for your input, it is always welcome, and keep visiting my site as there is new and good stuff being posted weekly.... EDIT - Battle name change to 'Skirts of Neuendorf'
  2. Hey Guys, Been feverishly working on the CMFB Campaign Task Force Baum... I am at the point where I am putting battles together (every map complete but one) and I just took the first battle to completion, I play tested it about a dozen times, but would still be looking for feedback... These are all battles 'Allies vs AI' and the outcome would be important info in the process... plus all the feedback you can give me... Unfortunately, when one does play testing on a campaign it is mostly ruined if you want to play the campaign. But if you want to have some fun and try these battles, I can attest that they might be fun little fights... First one up is Battle 1 'Wake up Laufach' ... Dusk, 1 Hour, Recon (+), Exit Certain Units, 625 pts per side, Medium Size (leaning toward small), and 4 different AI plans. Depending on the plan you draw, it could be a cake walk or a headache... Any who if interested, go HERE look around at what's happening and if interested send me an email via the feedback button on the site... I will send you the .btt file for testing... I will continue on this thread as the other 8 battles become available for testing... My time frame for release of the Campaign is late June, so I figure 4 weeks or so would be great for feedback from the start of a battle... Thanks for reading and I hope some will respond... Cheers -Rick

  4. Glad you like the site PEB14, Unfortunately I had a flood in 2019 that destroyed over 3TB worth of data and I have lost all the 'core unit' files, scripts, commander manual Indesign files, and a host of other stuff pertaining to my Combat Mission Material. I have exploded out the scenarios of these 5 campaigns via ScAn CaDe but I would still need to go back and create the core units and scripts. Currently my mind set is working on new campaigns, and all the Sie Kommen stuff (remember I created the original in CMAK in 2004) and then updated to CMBN in 2011) has mostly been re-released after being modified for H2H play. I might go back and rework those files for Game Engine 4.x now that I have done a few other scenarios and play tested them, getting a better understanding of what needs to be adjusted. Plus most of the AI scripts can be 'enhanced' as their are many more groups that can be utilized. Anywho its all in the pot, it just depends what I put on my plate. Right now CMFB 'Task Force Baum' is top priority, which will have a historically correct 'core unit' OOB, but the whole campaign will not be based upon the historic 'Task Force Baum' mission of rescuing POWs but will be fictionalized using the Task Force as a Spearhead for Patton's Army in his advance deeper into Germany. bla bla bla...
  5. Hey Guys, Took a few years, but I'm back to working on CM stuff. Have revamped my Combat Mission Website and over the last few months have populated it with some old (5 Campaigns). some reworked (5 Scenarios of which three are really new), and some new (6 new scenarios). Also have other things in the works including a 9 scenario campaign for CMFB ' Task Force Baum' and a 7 scenario campaign for CMCW 'Son of Major Nosov'. Think the new layout of the website makes it easy to not only get at the scenarios/campaigns but should provide enough description to see if your interested in downloading them or not. Would love to get feedback on any of them you attempt to play. Enjoy, and I am happy to be active again.
  6. In the CMBN Campaign 'Sie Kommen II - Allies' there is a battle called 'Night Recon' which has 6 Terrain Touch Objectives, but also (where you get more points) 7 Unit Objectives that are all based upon spot... The whole Scenario is predicated on moving around the map to specific 'touch' points and 'spotting' enemy units, firefights are to be avoided because loss of the recon units take a big points hit... The AI plans are designed to have Axis units moving in what you would call 'Guard' motion, back and forth, up and down a street, and all the armor is set to hide mode throughout the scenario, but are located in difficult map locations to get to (you have to dodge the troops on guard duty). I forget who the play testers where, this is from 2011 in CMBN, but IIRC they enjoyed the concept and thought it worked out well... Just for added thought I am making a new CMFB campaign and there will be a scenario along the 'Spotted Objective' lines. I created a few standalones like this but they have long gone by the wayside in the great flood of 2019...
  7. Yes, Even though I had some of these maps made a few years back, I have dated a few the battles in the March 1945 timeframe since I got Downfall... I believe Downfall is needed for any battles with the dates Feb thru May of 45... I always forget to post that (modules) as I tried to stay up on the latest modules/patches Thanx will fix today...
  8. Hi all, its been a while... in fact so long that I had to create a new account for the Forums... Anywho I started revamping some of my old work so it will play better in Game Engine 4.x and also I am back to creating some new scenarios (some fictional, some semi-historical)... Also redid my Combat Mission Site (haven't touched it in 7 years)... Since I lost touch with all the people that use to playtest for me I ask if you have feedback; Good, Bad, and/or Ugly that you submit that via the Feedback button in the site's menu... I have done extensive testing on the vs. AI battles but, the Head to Heads I have not been able to test... Well I am active again, who knows for how long but I do have a lot of time on my hands and a lot of scenarios/campaigns on the production schedule... You can check every thing out at Fredrockers Combat Mission Site ... Enjoy
