I'd like to hear Todds(CMMODs owner) opinion about this. Sounds like everybody is assuming CMMODs will last forever. Anybody know if he losses money each month or are the donations enough? He might be in favor of something like this. I consider raising the prices of your games completely out of the question. I think Moon already mentioned this wouldn't be considered as some customers may never use the depot site. So it would be unfair to make them pay more. -
I went from 1.03 to 1.10 and think its great. Don't bother waiting, it's good to go.

Well that answers that concern, perhaps this should be edited into Moons original post. I for one really don't mind ads, sure their annoying and obtrusive, but it's a necessary evil in my eyes. I wouldn't mind it being implemented in some way. But I like what I'm hearing, this isn't a good thing, it's a great thing. Also been a long time coming too. So yes, I'm all for it, full steam ahead. As for the name, let's not go with usual names like Filefront, FilePlanet, FileShack, etc. How about something more in tune with BFs military themed games and crowd. How about: BattleFronts War Toys Warehouse bfwartoys.com -

Nope, it just says "made for 2 player or soviet vs AI". But I agree with the consensus, Andreas is an evil bastard. -

I'd like to put in a tiny request, perhaps my very first. Could the sniper icon be changed to a scope or target to indicate the unit as a sniper team? As it is now it has the same infantry icon as the rest. Quite often I have to click around to find my sniper team. I figured since HQ, HMG, and FOs get thier own icons, sniper teams should too. -

Is there a mod of this? I thought there was but couldn't find a thread about it. Reason being I sometimes lose track of which unit is my sniper team. Maybe change the icon from the usual infantry icon to scope/target to indicate the unit as a sniper.

Ahh, I remember this one, haven't played it since the game was released in 02. So decided to give it a whirl and see what happens. ***Spoiler Below*** The Germans surrendered to me on the 20th turn, results were a Major Victory with a 73%-27% score. Although I got real lucky since two of the three guns were setup on their far left flank. As my main assault came in on their far right flank. So I only lost one tank to the single AT gun, lost another to AT rifle fire, lost AC to HMG fire, and another to arty. So I managed to have plenty of firepower leftover to pound their right flank. But my infantry took a helluva pounding from the German arty, ouch. Perhaps I should have played with AI "stick to default" setup. But unless indicated in the briefing I always choose the "free to place" setup. Nonetheless, it was still a tough battle against the AI. I dread playing this one a against a human. IIRC, I did play as Axis against a human Allied player. Don't think we ever finished the battle, I don't blame him, it's a tough nut to attack. Thanks for posting about this scenario, forgot all about it. It was a nice trip down memory lane. -

At this point and with so few threads in the CMC forum, I'd say bumps won't make a piss of a difference at all. But then again, there's not much else to do in this forum anyway.

Ha, I was just reading through this thread and was about to post this idea. Dump the normal ammo loadout screen for arty, this is much better for user feedback. This is a great, it gets my vote. It also looks like this interface tweak could still work for the aircraft loadout too. It appears 4 bars could be squeezed in there no problem. I don't think any aircraft is equipped with more than 4 different weapons.

Wow your right on, thanks Jak170. I got both mods to work no problem. S2kde, nicely done with the yamm mod, looks much better now thanks. All that is needed to be said was this: "The YAMM mod is required for this mod to work!" This is not mentioned anywhere, only vaguely hinted at. I see this splashscreen mod was just added yet again to CMMODs without a readme file informing users of this. It's also not mentioned in the mod details. I'm sure we're not the first to have this problem and at this rate we definitely won't be the last. Tip: Don't forget to delete the yamm.brz from your data folder. Otherwise the new splashscreen won't get recognized. P.S. M1, your original upload is already in bmp format, no need for unpacking.
