    You may have a corrupted file; a mod from another game, or mods that conflict. Happens to me frequently.

    Sounds like it would make a fascinating scenario! If one added in info from the interrogation which affected what happens in the game and gives the player many options, it would be in a similar genre to what MOS accomplished brilliantly in his TOC scenario for CMBS.

    Many of the later CMSF1 scenarios and campaigns are of a higher standard than yer average WW2 scenarios as CMSF was the only CM2 game available for about 5(?) years and designers and modders learned to become very, very good. Not saying we don't have very talented designers and modders now - like you, and also MOS and his superb Tac Ops Center scenario (who here is playing that btw?) - but back in CMSF days there seemed to be more designers and modders who were prepared to spend the vast amount of time needed to become very, very good.

    Well, I suggested that I put everything on a large flash drive and mail em to someone capable of hosting. As you say I haven't the time to spend hours uploading a ton of stuff - not to mention there may be complaints about me hogging so much bandwidth from servers. Sometimes when playing CM1 games and exchanging (small by comparison) files they suddenly take a very long time to upload and have wondered if either they are being deliberately slowed or NSA is freaking out cos a game file looks like a very suspicious and very large code being sent (and of course I probably fit the ISIS terrorist profile).

    I can imagine all the work... Much appreciated as every mod like this helps makes the whole game subtly more appealing/compelling.

    That's a shame. I don't want to have to do this for every individual who wants some old mods. Is there any other way to upload this someplace once for others to access?

    The new work is much more sophisticated and subtle. I can't tell if it's me or if you added a sort of shading - using light to make the images more 3D in appearance. In any case it's a good effect and I have no other suggestion other than maybe that 3D effect can be enhanced even more... But, in playing, one doesn't spend a whole lot of time looking at these tiny UI graphics, so they are near perfect for their role in the game interface as is.

    What about: http://www.the-scenario-depot.com/scenario_lists.html Seems to have many CM1 scenarios and campaigns. FWIW I no longer have CMBO installed. But, I found a CMBO Scenarios folder with 121 scenarios and campaigns. Am pretty sure they are mixed together as IIRC there was no separate folder for campaigns.

    Hmm. That omission is a shame as Italians vs Greeks and the Anglo-Greek fighting vs Germans was a significant part of the era. Am wondering if the Greeks had similar uniforms & equipment to some other nationality that could be modded.

    Yes, nice shots (literally as well). The only thing that looks very fake is the way the buildings in CM sit on the ground like toys. As gamers we've gotten used to that. However, is there a way to make the houses look like they have foundations and actually are built on the ground rather than just dropped in?

    Just one of the aspects I like about the new design is that the face and uniform are easier to identify as belonging to a specific branch. The old ones, (esp infantry and arm inf) seemed interchangeable.

    If someone can set up a dropbox sorta thing I can up load any folder they want. If someone wants everything to create a CMMODS-like respository it may be better for me to put everything I have on a large flash drive and mail it (rather than tie up my internet for hours trying to upload and finding that I get banned or something for overloading the information highway and have NSA and Homeland Security descend on me). Actually, CMMODS would be the best place for this so that everyone can access the mods. Maybe you go ask GAJ if he's interested?
