Interesting thing about this sort of deal. You see it as an issue (and if that's your opinion, then it is an issue for you, not disagreeing here, just commenting) and I see that as a great example of the game imitating the pull-your-hair-out, cat herding, marble stacking moments of frustration that real life war provides. My favorite moments through the years with BO, BB, AK, and now BN are the fact that I can't get people to do just what I want. Since I employ just over 400 people, it mimics real life non-war situations, too. My .02 anyway.

Yep, its strictly a $ issue as to whether it will be restored, to flying condition or otherwise.

I can tell you that the $450 is worth it. My office is right across from a commuter airport that the Ghost Squadron often flies warbirds out of, north of Houston TX. It's a great experience, and well worth any risk, which is still less than the drive to the airport.

BFC is getting a lot of richly deserved props, as are the testers, et al, but I want to say a special thanks to MarkEzra for making QB's so wonderful now, with his many great maps and AI plans. SF QB's were,...not good, until he put in a lot of time and effort to develop better maps and plans. Lots of people deserve thanks, but he's about the top of my list.

For all the "Thanks BFC" threads, which are richly deserved, and in which I have participated, we need a "Thanks MarkEzra". If you like QB's, you can thank him for a lot of good maps and AI plans. In fact, I shall make one now.

Infantry has come so far. I will be playing a lot more Infantry only battles than I every used to in CMx1. Having said that, I remain an unabashed, unapologetic treadhead.
