Some people want to get to the shooting quickly. Not I. Slow, painstaking recon is pure joy to me. I remain firmly in the WEGO camp since BO came out through SF and BN, but I understand the immersion of RT, especially in longer battles. So +1 for lots of empty space and 2 hours, RT or WEGO. No tedium for me.

You can always rename the file to suit your taste.

In the old days the CM Borg would post here to let you know you had been assimilated, but yes, say goodbye to your free time and welcome to the greatest addiction on earth.

A new Paper Tiger project makes delays on anything else quite palatable.

The biggest thing is to go slow and be very deliberate. Take your time moving troops and let recon sit a while if they aren't under fire, as they will spot more over time. Real world tactics apply much more now than the old days.

/drool for QB map packs. You can never be too rich, have a woman that's too hot, or have too many QB maps.

I doubt more than half of CM buyers are not American, but you never know. However, armor sells wargames to the average person off the street without the slightest notion of grogginess or playing pbem, and the Pacific ain't got much in the way of sexy armor. So, don't look for BFC to spend all the painstaking time they take for game releases on something that probably has very limited potential.

Huge improvement. SF and BN graphics have certainly been better out of the box, for the most part, than CM1, but you don't realize how much better some things can be until someone talented does major surgery on it.

When you hit the Repository link, you'll see in the notes and in the comments that the d/l you get right now is 1.1 even though the file number in the description shows 1.0.
