  3. Place them outside buildings and let them hide as long as possible. Give them a cover arc too. Let them ambush from behind buildings when the Shermans pass by.

  6. Looks you might have installed both games in one folder.
  7. Read how happy the Germans were in the Battle of the Bulge... tanks literally drove over horse drawn cars at crossroads to push forwards to their objectives. The Battle of the Bulge had even more problems to use the road network then we have atm in the bocage.
  8. Guys I have to say these mods are awesome. The sound of the Garand’s "tzing" gives me chicken skin. Just want to tell you in case you missed it .
  9. Don’t fight the problem indeed . You are free to play any other game in the world CMBN alike. I can tell you tons of people were waiting 11 years to conclude there is none. I would say the glass is half full here so continue to enjoy the game as you wrote in other posts.

  11. Accept the game limitations imo. I learned it the hard way just like you. George MC gave some usefull tips. Create temporary objectives between your main objective and your starting position. When a platoon arrives at the temporary objective plot new moves. This game is not a RTS it’s a tactical game with a RT option .

  13. To all, putt your effort in improving the game and help eachother..... One thing to make things clear is a screenshot or a movie. Windows Vista and Windows 7 have problems to make screenshots with PrtScn button. Download a program like Fraps to make a screenshot or even a movie. http://www.fraps.com/ Passing a hedgerow in CMBN. 1: Take the wooden fence/door 2: Hedgerows have infantry gaps (check them before you give an order) 3: Use an engineer team 4: Use a vehicle equipped with a Rhino Check video. I hope it helps.

  18. You are right about absolute. But one of the tricks is to add troops as reinfocements... those will ignore the times (lower then current playtime) and just conduct the orders:).
  19. It’s a different game and I agree we would like back some old futures. But the current engine does not support some futures. It’s a nice game and if you get used to the engine you will love it like CMx1 I am 100% sure. Btw you can adjust time during movement by pressing the pause key and it will add 10 seconds delay.
  20. 3D model Quality is the fps killer. I have everything on max settings but 3D model Quality on balanced. It looks still great and plays very good.
