  1. Ok thanks I will link this to the Beta forum
  2. You must be waiting for the British module. Attrition warfare is you’re gameplay But at the end victory counts
  3. One more legend has returnd. Welcome back Nabla Btw ask Moon if he can give you old name back I am sure he can manage that.
  4. There are a lot of futures we would like to have and some will come in next module or next CM engine. But I can tell you if you really love CM type games you will be knocked of your chair by de graphics and gameplay. My advice it to play it turn based and check the replays. I had so many OMG moments like I had them 10 years ago with CMx1. The glass is definitely half full here. And as Steve announced in his May update there is a big chance to get the experience yourself very very soon .
  5. No, in CMx1 is was possible but the CMx2 engine dont support it atm
  6. The problem BF encountered they didn’t enjoy for a while WW2. And rule #1 when working should be enjoy your work. Ofc not everyone has that luxury;). I wouldn’t mind playing WW2 there is for decades work to do
  7. Not. Only the scenario designer can manipulate this. Basicly you can expect this only in a QB cause there its not 100% sure if infantry will follow right AI path.
  8. Answer is no. It would be nice to have a spotters bonus to simulate Tank telephones. You got my vote btw to implement this future
  9. Its more detailed and has a realistic look and feel then CMBB. I am playing a campaign and starting to feel responsible not only for my men but also my material. I.e. I want to move to a fire position in a bocage line. 1st I bring my mortar in position and the ammo team close to it in case its running out of ammo. Next I select a squad, detach a scout element and move it to the position, then I bring the squad and finally the platoon. After they are deployed I send in my armour.. no not just drive them to them.. 1st I destroy with my Sherman’s main gun the wooden fence gate to prevent track damage. Then I navigate them with slow orders step by step through the gate. Finally I move them towards the infantry platoon. In the old days I would drive the armour 1st and took the risk it would be knocked out. Making maps in the editor is also fun. With tools like google maps you can pick any place in France and create it for CMBN. There is so many documentation these days on internet you can recreate any historic battle you like and far more realistic then in the old days. CMBN It’s so real you can almost smell it.
  10. Kamfgruppe SSI 1987 followed by M! Tank Platoon 1990 rest of the games are Steel Panters, Close Combat series etc untill CM:BO
  11. Welcome you picked the right game
  12. Outreboard? Damn, French Normandy hits even the Peng Challange Threat these days.
  13. I would rather see the old Operation option back where you could play several battles on one big map. In that case big maps would get my prio too. And I am not feeling threatened btw . I wish everyone what they want
  14. Its called Battle for Normandy not Battle june -aug 44 or battle for Paris 4 by 4 km is pretty huge and I think most of the players will not have the CPU needed to play 4 by 4 with 1000+ units and the PBEM file could be not funny too.
  15. Yes you can. Not the same way as CMBB but you can adjust in the unit editor of the scenario editor the force, XP, motivation, fitness, leadership, supply, headcount and vehicle status. Does this answer your question?
  16. Yes both sides have trucks open and closed. You can not choose as an player for a open or close model.
  17. Nope, per vehicle type So this could be a PZ IV H late and early or a PZ IV J Just did a fast check. Left front PZ IV H late right front PZ IV H early
