Very nice job there Strontium Dog. I like it. I do believe it's the best one yet although there are a couple of really nice ones out there. How you stick around for CMBB. Again very nice mod and thanks.

Oh Makjager just how do you expect us to pick which one we like most they're all excellent. Love the dark coloring but can't decide which I like the best. What a problem to have. But really Makjager very nice work. You're got the modding thing down pat. Thanks but could you hurry and little bit. You're getting as slow as Andrew.

I think you're going to ask nicer then that if you want an answer. -

World's first (and last?) CM:BO Korean War mod?
lcm1947 replied to Gordon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
That is great Gordon. What a - well it's different isn't it? Are you serious that we the American's were allowed to actually paint one of our tanks that way? I am shocked that it would have been allowed but how cool looking it is. Great job Gordon!! That will certainly be cool and fun to look at in the game. Excellent idea. Thanks. -
That's funny gautrek. You made me smile. God aren't we all just a sad bunch? Can't even wait for the game to come out and here we are dying to see what the modders can do. And yeah modders are great, careing, unselfish, hard working bunch and they should be thanked each and every day for the work they have done and hopefully will continue to do. I sure wish I knew where that Chaffee is though.

Any interest in CMBO mods any more?
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Nice looking light tree bases Ozzy. I've been wanting some lighter ones and these will fill the bill. Great job and thanks for the time and work. And Kump you are the silly one. -

BFC: Please push back release date for CM:BB
lcm1947 replied to leakyD's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Actually I see where he's coming from. I would hate for the release of CMBB to interfere with the new Chaffee and JagTiger mods that are coming out so yeah if It's all the same to everybody else let's just hold off awhile for CMBB. I don't see what a month or two difference it would make. I'm pretty sure I can speak for everybody that is a regular on this board anyway. -
What's that on the horizon? Another mod preview?!?
lcm1947 replied to Gordon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Oh man that is beauiful Gordon. That's one of the ones I've been waiting for. WoW! Excellent job - again Gordon. Please hurry. Man that is really really really nice. Great color though I normally don't like the tan color in itself this really looks good on the JagTiger for some reason. The king of tanks...Thanks Gordon. -
Yeah and what up with the birds singing away all the time during battle? And their not even the native bird anyway. They should be the black and pink striped wing tip. Man this game can't even get the correct bird in it. I'm not playing it anymore. Who wants to buy my copy? I hate BFC!

Any interest in CMBO mods any more?
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Let me think. Is there any more interest in CMBO mods this close to CMBB's release? I'd ask you a question first. Does a bear dump in the woods? Of course there is interest in more mods. Always have always will be. Just because CMBB is out and we are all playing it that's no reason why many more new people won't be buying CMBO and playing it. I truely believe that the western front is the most interesting of the two fronts and as CMBB gets introduced and more people find out about it more people will be turned on to CMBO. Anyway, that's what I think and that's why I think BFC should concentrate on the engine rewrite and revisit the western front. I bet most people don't even know that there was any fighting any place else but the western front or at least have any idea or care. Call me silly if you want but that's me - silly. Now as far as the mods Tanks a Lot, best looking building so far. You are out doing yourself! Yes, I vote finish them and get them out here. Or please for the love of god email them to me but I would think there is a big demand for them and should be released. Well that is unless you have a mean streak. Excellent looking! -
Any good M16 war stories?
lcm1947 replied to The ol one eye.'s topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Thanks Zitadelle for the reply. So an armored car. Very interesting. I wonder how come the American's didn't have it in CMBO? It sure would have come in handy a million times. -
Somebody probably just broke it.
-
Yeah or they're a bunch of sissies that don't want to kill anymore. Makes me just sick to hear something like this. What's this world coming to?

Any good M16 war stories?
lcm1947 replied to The ol one eye.'s topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
So what is a M16? I know you're not talking about the rifle so it must be a tank or tank destroyer. Any pictures available or a site? -
CM Outpost --> MOD Catalogue DONE, Terrain, Odds&Ends
lcm1947 replied to kump's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Thought I'd better bump this for those that haven't seen it. -
I always thought of it as the planning vs the doing but I'm a simple person. One thing I'd mention though is you might add under Planning or some such would be to always have another plan and expect the unexpected and never underestimate the enemy. Good luck.

Hey Makjager good job. I thought I'd prefer the green one over the red but man that red one is extremely nice looking. Yeah that's the one. Looking forward to seeing them in the game. So hurry up already. Boy it's getting so you just have to keep hounding these darn modders!
