Trees too thick, Rocks too small

Sorry to bump this post since I know everybody has moved on to bigger issues but nobody ever answered my question so was hoping that somebody could this time. Any help. The question was can we use these tree bases in CMBO? I'd appreciate any reply. Well, provided that it's a true answer. -
Man! Tanks A Lot that looks so real it's not funny. What a spendid job. Thanks for remembering us poor CMBO players too. I can't get over how real that looks. Once again a great job. You da man!

At present just have and playing BO. I guess I plan on getting BB one of these days but I really prefer the Western Front and am just not all that fired up about playing either side in BB so will stick with BO for now. Another factor at least in my opinion is the way I now have BO looking. The mods that have come out for BO are some of the best possible and it has improved the game for me so much I just can't tear myself away. I really hesitate getting BB and having to look at a lot of the stock stuff although I know that their alot better then what the BO stock looked like. I am however looking forward to some of the new game features in BB but I don't think they will offset the way BO looks so I'll continue BO at least for awhile.

Oh yes I've got this one. Nice. Very much so. Thanks Strontium Dog. The game is looking better and better with you recent improvements. Just what I needed.
-
This is damn nice Strontium dog. It really makes the terrain real looking. I like it - lots. Outstanding job and thank you. What with CMBB out and all I really needed a little shot in the arm for CMBO and now thanks to you we have it. You modders continue to amaze me.

lcm1947 replied to easytarget's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Welcome easytarget. Love that name. Anyway, glad to see another getting involved in these fantasic games. It don't get no better then this as they say. See you around. -
Panzerace, I tried downloading the mod and my Winzip won't let me unzip it. Says something about the file not being a valid archive, whatever that means? Thought I'd let you know as I would really like to take a look at it. Let us know if you figure it out, if you would please.

I second what Smallwood said and I have a 19 inch monitor. Really a pain.

Can these tree bases be used in CMBO? They are great and would sure help in the game but have no idea if they could be used in CMBO or not. -

The "debate" about CMBB's Infantry Modeling
lcm1947 replied to Battlefront.com's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Excellent idea Sschugaschwili. I have thought the exact thing many times in playing CMBO but never brought it up. It only makes sense that men would take cover or move to another location if fired on. I realize that sometimes the situation would keep this from happening as if they didn't know where the fire was coming from, etc, but in many cases I would think that they would at least make an effort to get away from the fire rather then lying there watching the other members of the outfit being killed and not do anything except wait for their turn to get zapped. -
New Combat Mission Mod Manager
lcm1947 replied to KiloIndiaAlpha's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Well I've never felt the need for one of these but I think I'll try yours just to see what they are all about. Looks good so far but is it easy to use. If so I'll be getting back with you and thanking you when I try it. Let us know when it's completed and thanks. -
Announcing my retirement from modding
lcm1947 replied to Gordon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Damn. I feel like crying. Bummer dude but hey it's been real. Thanks a million for all your fine work and time. You have added greatly - that's GREATLY! to this game and I for one will miss your work. All my respect my friend. -
The PS after the .com part is not part of the address. After I posted it I saw that it might be confusing and look like part of my email but it's not.
-
I would be more then happy to take a look at it although I'm no expect. But God knows I love mods and really appreciate modders like yourself. So if you want please do email me at mclaughll@aol.com PS: The last two letters before the @ are little L's not One' like they seem to look like.
-
Boy if that mod looks as good in the game as it does in your picture I'll be extremely happy to use it. Very nice job there Strontium Dog and thanks for thinking of us.
-
And where would one find this ugly little tank? And I'm sure it's not ugly seeing that I've seen the kind of work you do which I think is extremely good stuff.

Stupid waste of space posters - not very good
lcm1947 replied to Andreas's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Dear Andreas. Let's see how do I respond without seeming to attack you, which I certainly am not trying to do, and at the same time answer your question if it truely was a question you were asking and not just a statement in which you certainly have a right to state. I guess I kind of just answered it in my last sentence. You do have a right to make a statement. So does everybody else. Even if you personally think someones question is stupid. It's not to them or they wouldn't be asking it. How boring would it be if you were the only person on this forum? Probably pretty boring. Anyway, no hard feeling I just wanted to give you my personal opinion and maybe get you to see things in another light. Cheers, as you guys say. -
Headhunter. I first want to thank you for your reply. Come to find out that wasn't what my problem was. It was something so stupid I won't say what it was but I do want to thank you for trying to help. What you said did help however in that I started checking things and discovered what I was doing wrong so thanks partly to you I now am back at installing the mods I want. Again, I do appreciate you stopping and taking the time to try to help me out.

I have been changing mods now for over 2 years and have never had a problem, but just this morning for whatever reason the mods won't take. They won't change. Anybody have any idea why all of a sudden I can't switch them? This is strange. I must have done something or changed some kind of setting but for the life of me can't understand what would keep me from being able to d/l and install new mods into my bmp folder. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. I have to go to work right now but will return after work.

Thanks JimF I am sitting here at work bored to tears when I read your post. I got a good laugh out of it. I don't mean what happened to you although you have to admit it's kind of funny but the way you described it. Thanks for the laugh. Sorry about your guys.
