  1. Sure. But the ability of the T-34 to hit and penetrate goes down. There is more than one variable at work...
  2. The problem is, as already stated, that in most of the scenarios you can't stand off at the range where the German guns can show their advantage...

  8. Compared to "real life", Bil is moving very quickly! I doubt even the Russian's of 44 would be moving this fast...until the enemy's positions had been fully developed. Compared to the way most of us play though he is moving at a snail's pace.
  9. For me the additional detail of the tanks, etc. is lost - I don't normally zoom in tight enough where additional detail there would make a difference. What I would like to see are roads that curve naturally and smaller action tiles. Those changes would have the most impact to the way I play, I think. And also, while I am at it, I would like to see true multiplayer games, i.e. 4 on 5, etc. I have lost track of that request over the years - what's the latest?

  12. I played the first couple of missions of The Outlaws and they were all nice and small. And then I got to the mission where the outlaws were a small part of much larger action. Way too big! Is there a way to skip that one?
  13. I am waiting for true multiplayer, i.e. 3 on 2, 6 on 6, etc. I remember (maybe) hearing that somethng like that is being contemplated. What have you guys heard?

  15. I know CW is going to be awesome - when I get home from this damn dusiness trip and am able to download it. But it seems we are years away from the East Front. That is what I most interested in. But Market-Garden and Bulge will keep me happily occupied...

  17. They are very busy cranking out Commmonwealth.
  18. I can't +1 enough Phil's recommendation to slooooow things down. When I started playing very slowly things started to improve markedly. Letting your recon units have time to scope things out made a big difference. I am talking a couple of turns minimum. Also, the more eyes you have on the target area the better. Don't bring up the tanks until they have something to shoot at.
  19. I am guessing an anti-tank rifle round. Hole looks too small for a 45mm AT round. The tracks are interesting, they are a lot wider than normal. Looks like they have been extended outboard. Was that a field mod or did they send new tracks out from the factory? Didn't help it get out of the hole though...
  20. I am just getting into it myself so no problem if there is a delay. We're all going to be here for years and years...
