I'll log that to see about getting it fixed with any upcoming patches (as it will be the same for the model texture across every map it is used in).

Wagner associated telegram channel released numbers about casualties of the PMC:
totally employed 78.000 fighters, 49.000 of which were convicts and 29.000 were regular mercs 22.000 killed, 40.000 wounded, so ca. 62.000 casualties of 78.000 in total (79,5% casualty rate, 28% death rate) 25.000 are now "alive and healthy", so 16.000 who were never wounded and ca. 9.000 who recovered (so 32% of deployed force still available) 10.000 of those supposedly already in or going to Belarus as per agreement after the mutiny / coup attempt  Convict troops had 90% casualties, so 44.000 either killed or wounded from 49.000, and the rest of the casualties, being 18.000, must have come from the 29.000 mercs (ca. 62% casuality rate mercs only).
Recovery rate returning to service roughly 1 in 4. Deaths to wounded ratio ca. 1:2.
Does not account for troopers who were wounded multiple times, so rates might be lower.
Also I suppose the surviving convicts would get released and reduce the number of PMC members by 5.000, unless they sign up again on their own, so ca. 20.000 PMC members left.

I'm finally getting to grips with Five Days One Summer after mostly playing CW for the last few months.
 

The experiences I have encountered over my long years, from the middle of the previous century, have taught me that there is no such thing as “not possible.” The problem, for example with making something “idiot proof,” is that idiots are so damn inventive that they are always able to find a way to circumvent the “idiot proofing.” Anything that is designed by humans can be defeated by humans!

A bit off topic but thanks FancyCat for quoting the whole tweet in your recent post. It solves two annoyances of people posting tweets: 1) the broken embedding in the forum software that require constant reloads to see what people are actually responding to, and 2) the need to click through to read the full message, only recently to get blocked by a login wall anyway.

Just wanted to say hello and I hope I get to play some PBEM against some of you when I get better.
I'm a huge history fan, and also a fan of Graviteam Tactics: Mius Front, but it never quite did what I wanted. Games like Gates of Hell: Ostfront, looked gorgeous but were tactically shallow experiences that in no way represented the battles I've read about in books. The closest I could get was warg ames like War in the East 2, which still were fairly abstract. 
I found out about these games a few weeks ago and...Well, with the Steam sale I've purchased CM:BS, CM:SF2 and CM:BN, plus all the respective DLCs. I've been wanting games like these for years. Can't wait to start building the hours. I've clocked up 30 hours in two weeks which, for me as a 37 year old with a job and girlfriend, is fairly extreme.
 
Cannot believe I didn't try them sooner.

I gotta be honest here, as much as we would have liked the RA front to crack like an eggshell on the first weekend, it was a bit of a dream.  I wanted it too, and frankly given how hard the RA bled over the winter, and the frontages we are talking about, it was not a crazy dream.  But the bastards dug in, mined everything and now are going to have to be ground out, hopefully to a breaking point coming to a theatre near you soon.
I am not sure what, if anything, the West could have provided that they have not given already.  I am not sure anything “new” would have really made a big difference.  Even fighters 12 months ago would likely still be denied airspace.  ATACMS would be nice but no one is on board with UA striking directly into Russia just yet…except the Ukrainians, which we get.  The western failure was more likely failure to stock up and push the basics: ammo and engineer/logistical equipment type stuff - the boring stuff that really does matter.  
I think we are in a “slow is smooth, smooth is fast…when it happens” type of scenario.  Now before we all go doom and gloom we were in the exact same situation last Fall.  The Fall offensive went in at end-Aug and lasted until Nov. When the grandkids watch the war documentaries on this one, remember that was a loooong 3 months.  This offensive likely started in Jun so we may be talking Sep before we know how it really ends.
 No point on turning on each other either, just do what we did last time, strap in and ride it out.

But the Ukrainians in the minefield-video struck me most because of the unbelievable courage those guys showed. Courage in a trench or fierce firefight can be an instinctive thing, because there is hardly time to really think about what is happening, until it's over.
But these guys in that minefield knew what was around them. And the ones that survived the first explosions, plus the ones that later arrived in the other Bradley, knew very well how utterly dangerous it was to try and get the wounded out.
But they went. And when those guys blew up in front of their eyes, the next guys never gave up and stepped on that mine-infested soil. WHILE THEY KNEW!!!
I wonder if I have ever seen more courageous people in this whole ****ty war.

Author of video Valeriy Markus, he is not squad leader, he is in a rank of master-sergeant and he is chief sergeant of 47th brigade. Very ineteresting video, alas, only UKR subs. 
Some episodes - Markus detained Russian POW. He is convicted. Enlisted from correctional facility in May 2023. Nobody ask their agreement, they just were sent "to dig trenches". They dug trenches near Vasylivka, then were deployed near Tokmak. This guy told "alot of armor and Grads" around Tokmak in fields. To this place, where he was captured they were moved five days ago. He had AK-12 rifle. Markus says to him "nobody will risk to evacuate you now, so the only way for you to survive is that we must kill all your friends in next tree-line. This is a war" 
In trench Markus is planning tactiacal actions - he ordered to put two MGs on flanks and wants that artillery conduct short, but concentrated and intensive strike on enemy position, then assault group with fast attack wil burst into tranches
In the night, Markus again plans next assault. He say there need two pairs, which have to silently crawl along tree-line, where Russian trenches and to throw grenades there, when other group will attack from other side. He says he will in this "grenadier group" and ask who are ready to go with him. One soldier answered, that nobody of them didn't do these things, so Markus says "If we don't take in dare rush this positions, we will must withdraw, because enemy artillery will smash us here"
Looks like he has found volunteers, we are hearing sounds of explosions in the night and next cadre is a group of Markus after the rest in seized trenches. This is about Markus meant in short video where they are slept on corpses of Russians (and this turned out not a joke). Next Markus again plans mopping up the tree-line with two groups, which have to crawl along the plant and seek a trail, leading inside the tree-line, He ordered the sapper to move first and he checks the way in tree-plant with a probe tool. Next by radio we are hearing Russians withdrew to blindage and shooting is starting.
Next cadres - UKR soldiers comletely captured enemy positions. They say Kadyrov troops were here, but on my opinion there was just regular troops of 42nd division, which mainly consists of Chechens.
