  1. I was actually surprised to see you mentioned by name since according to him you, Lanzfeld, Blackcat, Gpig, me and anyone else who has been around for 8,9 or 10 years, no longer visits or posts to this forum.
  2. Additional gameplay features have been added during the development of each module but the way the game is built the features get retro fitted to every version so even if you only have the base game you will benefit from these enhancements.
  3. I'd pay for that. Sergie has a for pay thing he uses that had a free trial (can't remember the name off the top of me head) that worked well. And Yossarian recently pointed me to a free one (another one I forget the name of...god forbid I wait until I'm on my home computer before making this post) . Trouble is getting enough people on them so you can find someone when you're ready for a battle. So a BFC backed option would be VERY welcome. TCP has been a fantastic way to play this game. For me it is the most fun way to play it. EDIT: Steam is the program Yossarian turned me on to.

  5. Probably breaching my NDA but a funny similar thing there was a period of time when the units CO names were from the Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin and The Who. I don't think there were any Beatles.
  6. I don't think it is that as much as the player was able to see the dust even if there are no units on the map that would have an LOS to the dust (not the unit...the dust itself). So the result was the player had information that no unit on the made should have...i.e. LOS to the dust.

  8. I did the Challenger/artything and didn't see it. I have a save game of the moment in case anyone wants to see how it runs for them. Looks like Redwolf was probably right about the overtaxed system.
  9. 1 - Sounds like an enemy unit going in and out of your LOS. I would wager (correct if I'm wrong) but when you see that happening and watch the enemy unit up close that only 1 man is spotted not the entire unit. When I have seen this that has been the case. What I do when I see it during real time play is briefly lay down so area fire on the spot and sometimes the bad guy will pop his head up and then you can target directly. Ifyou are targeting armour you can do this too and sometimes close is good enough when firing a 120mm shell. 2 - I have not seen this in a very long time. I just ran a test using the publiclyreleased demo and couldn't reproduce it. I used each movement speed and in eachcase theywent into the building and stayed there. So Ithink one of 2 things is happening to you. Either there are other factors (which I wouldn't be able to tell without seeing a save game file of the situation) or there is a bug and what I was doing to test it was not what triggers the results you got. I did a save game of each movement into the building in case you wanted to see whatI did and compare it to the situation you were in. 3 - Never saw that. You mean like a Matrix type thing? That sounds like it will take more time to recreate with the demo scenario but I'll see what I can do.
  10. Me neither. From what I have seen he has been running the game through its paces and even when his assumption that something was a bug was explained as not being a bug I was giving the guy props for having done the legwork.
  11. Adam, if you do feel strongly about it but you wants Brits you can create 2 versions of the game on your PC. Leave your current CMSF (and Marines if you have it) as they are. And when you get the Brits reinstall the CMSF with a different name and install the Brit module in that. I do something similar so that I have a version that is the most recent public release and one for testing.
