  1. Why are you coming at me? Sergie posted an answer and you said you wouldn't believe it until Moon or Steve say it so why would you then expect anyone else to? I don't get it. I posted about a completely seperate comment you made. You are connecting the 2 and telling me I am waffling.
  2. And by the way Wolfy... I understand you have asked a question you have not recieved an answer for it yet. All I was/am saying is that you were wrong when you said no one ever asked about digging in during gameplay.
  3. So Redwolf you are saying that Cid250 was not asking if you could dig in during battle in the quote I posted? Here is the quote again so you can reread it before answering "In defense... will be available again the "fox holes" for individual soldiers?. A soldier can dig-in in less than one hour, will be that option available for scenarios longer than that?."
  4. If I am understanding what you are saying correctly with this you are not saying foxholes will not be placeable during set up you are saying that foxholes can't be dug during a battle?
  5. Man, seeing those BTS web pages was like stepping back in time. Correct me if my memory is off but didn't the famous Alpha AARs first appear on that site?
  6. Leto, I don't mean to speak for Other Means but knowing him a bit I don't think he is being sarcastic. I think that is his wish list and I think he does want it now. I'm pretty sure he is just being playful. I could be wrong...I have been before.
  7. *sniff***Found my first post...*sniff* and not surprisingly I'm whining. *sniff* I told myself I wouldn't cry. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=10801
  8. Hey! What happened to my start date. I was #152 with a November '99 signup date that got reset in the refresh monkey incident and was changed to May 2000. But December 2007???? Someone get someone on the phone.... And good to see my bandwagon jumping buddy Hiram.
  9. Also, when using area fire if you have a gray target line instead of a blue one it is possible (and even probable) that your unit will not fire the Jav. But if you have a blue target line your unit should fire the Jav, no problem.
  10. Looks like Serg answered you before I could. But yes. You can anybody shoot at anybody as long as you own them. If you only have CMSf and the brit module then any units in both of those modules can shoot at each other. Same with Marines. Nothing is ever subtracted but if it hasn't been added you can't use it. Also, if you own Marines you can make a scenario where T90s face off against T90s. Blue vs Blue or Red vs Red forces if you want.
  11. I think the only new one is the Marine one. I agree that maybe the designer should post it in the repository.
  12. I don't think Other Means answered the question you were asking. Nothing will be removed in the Brit module. Everything you have have now you will have in the Brits. So if you have the base game you will have all the Red units in that. If you have the base game and the Marines you will have all of the Red units in both of them.
  13. Here is a suggestion that just came in: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080623001542AAnuRLD
  14. Hi GSX, A couple of things about some of your requests: 1 a. That would be cool. Can't think of how it would worked having to give that optional oder in RT but would love to see it tried. b. Unless I am not understanding you correctly it already works as you are asking for. When the Assault order is issues one team in the squad advances while the others provide cover, then the covering guys advance while the first tomove provide cover. etc..until the destination is reached. 2 a. I am not sure how this it done in real life so maybe anIraq vet can chime in. If movies and TV shows represent real life then soldiers enter through doors. If in Fallujiah (sp) or something guys went in through whatever opening they could find then CMSF should model this too. The game knows where the windows are as well as the doors so you would think it would be doable. b. Again do soldiers do this in real life battle situations? If they do it should be added. We all know the can help each other over high walls the question would be do they do it in a combat situation? c. You can do this now (may be a 1.11 thing). If you break off a team (2 or 3 guys) and send them back for ammo they will get it and when they rejoin the sqaud they distribute to everyone in the squad evenly. d. I'm not sure it is even abstracted. But boy is it needed and will be more important in WW2. e. I am happy with the exit movement and it feels like it should to me. Guys come out and hit the ground providing cover until everyone is out of the transport and then theygo about their movement (assault or quick might want to be the exit order you issue for the closest effect to what you are looking for). f. Sounds like a good idea but for me it would only be minor. If we ask the real world guys they will probably tell you that youdrag your buddy out of harms way. That being said I could live with or without it. 3 a. Can/do tanks and APCs do that in real battle? If so then you're right and it should be in CMSF. I'm not a programmer but it doesn;t sound like too hard of a thing to do. 4 a. I have no idea. b. I'll have to play around with it but I think area fire air support may already model this. Area target the large area you want and the air support will fire at the enemy units it sees in that area. I am pretty sure that when area fire is selected it doesn't just randomlydrop stuff in the "area". Anyone know about some of these real battle situation questions?
  15. Here is the link for the previous driver for graphics card. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_178.24_whql.html I hope it does the trick.
  16. I've tried a bunch of times to make it happen for me and I can't either.
  17. Rocket-Man, I have heard reverting the previous Nvidia fixes it. I haven't had the problem myself but others have (I am pretty sure there is a thread floating around here about it) and going to the earlier driver seems to do the job.
