Regarding the campaign. The guys who don't like it did you get past the first 4 (or was it 5) battles? SPOILER ALERT......................... Because those first few can be fun and have some subtle differences but are essentially defending against attacking enemy units. The ones after that get much more complex and have some really neat aspects to them (in my opinion). The attack then counter attack one...stuff like that. I was a lot like Michael but the depth of this thing is unreal. It sucks you in. I recently commented how I was playing a very small battle and heard each gunshot and saw where each round hit. It is one thing to track each shot from a tank but it is a whole different thing to track each bullet round. In larger battles I never really kept track of that kind of thing and flying bullets get lost in the cacophany of battle. But on a small scale like I saw.....Blew me mind mate.

dfritch, thanks for th epost. I had been trying to find the post that said the patch would be released by the end of month. I know it's nitpicking but this post doesn't refer to the patch it refers to the add on which was announced as a seperate thing.

OLDTIMER, your system is almost exactly like mine expect you have more RAM and you're running Vista to my XP Media Center. The game has always run very good for me. You should have now issues.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before anywhere but a few of these pictures seem to stand out and tell me something about this game. The bottom left screen shot of page 2 for instance. Look at where the soldiers in the buildings are all standing. They are all near windows or doors and are positions of covering each other. Then look at all the other pics of units in similar situations. Looks to me like BFC has modeled units inside a building very well. Well done guys!

Bad, that is perhaps my favorite ToW battle and I get past it too so I'm not sure what happened to you.

ianc,you can change the keys for camera control. It is VERY simple. For simple pan left or right I assigned the "A" and "S" key so I can use my left hand to pan while my right remains on the mouse. And to go directly to a unit double click the units icon or click the small map on the bottom left of the screen to just to that units area.

How weird is this........I am an CM old time junky who always thought real time was for click happy kids. But now when I play CM I become impatient and frustrated sometimes because I have to wait the whole minute before altering orders. I know, pretty weird and bordering on heresy.

The most I have done is 4 people. The first 3-5 seconds there is lag and then it feels like it "breaks free" and is fine. I have heard people around here saying they have had disconnects. I never did.

The enemy does not always begin with expert abilities. (How's that for a straight answer?)
