Well for all those that moan about moving large numbers of vehicles down roads in CM as being a tedious and drawn out exercise at least now know that CMBS delivers hard core realism.

Very probable except 5 and 7. I doubt Chinese government will urge Zelenskyy to accept Russian terms. The most probable stance is asking both sides(perhaps all sides that are interested in the crisis) to 'talk'. An useless stance to improve the situation but I bet China will keep such stance. 
And it's highly improbable that China will involve in the separatists' referendum because it has its own separatists'  problem too. That's why it keeps claiming that China supports the territory integrity of Ukraine.
The war actually is undermining China's economic interest as China is Ukraine's largest trading partner. However, China won't condemn Russian invasion as long as it needs Russian gas and if Sino-US relationship keeps deteriorating.

I've been playing PBEMs on the huge CW maps imported into Black Sea, and one of the things that's become quite obvious is how important sheer distance is for survival.
As in AT-14 at 2.5KM+ is an outstanding weapon system and hard to detect even with thermals, and the player will have time to relocate the team after they give away their position after a missile or two.

I would ask if anyone knows how many refineries Russia has. Sure, they are a major oil exporter, but how much do they actually refine for internal use?

Are they willing to give them up? They may still have tension with Turkey.

I don't think Putin is ready to quit just yet personally. The land bridge to Donbas could be a way to save face and cut his losses but Mariupol is bound to fall sooner or later and then that would probably free up a lot of troops and the Russians could resume their advance towards the north. I don't see them achieving anything in the Kyiv meat grinder anytime soon unless the forces coming for the north east can reach the Kyiv suburbs.
There is one thing that makes a bit cautious though and that's why I try to remain measured : this war is covered in such a way that it is akin to a boxing match where you only get to see one half of the ring and one single boxer. You see one boxer taking a lot of punches but even though he is clearly fumbling a lot you are not really seeing how many of his own punches are landing.
Clearly the Russians are getting mauled but it is bound to take its toll on the Ukrainian side too in the long run and who knows how far Putin is ready to go.
 

The German anti-tank units in Market Garden weren’t using “just panzerfausts and panzershreks. They also had AT guns situated at specific cloak points along the roads. It’s really difficult ti protect your armor’s flanks when you can’t run your infantry far enough out on the flanks without overexposing them. I taught my regular opponent a very valuable lesson about using infantry to secure the flanks of your armor advance by wiping all his Soviet AT teams with infantry clearing buildings in a CM1 mission called “The Library.” He has never forgotten, and that was about 20-years ago.

From here on out all my quick battle setting for the Russians in Black Sea will be Conscript, low morale, low fitness. -2 leadership.

Not every statement that some Ukranians do not agree is Russian propaganda. There is WESTERN academic system studying on the history for long time, which is neither pro Russia nor pro Ukraine. If you want me to explain the history of Russia and Ukraine, their culture connection, and why Ukraine uses the trident symbol on their coat of arms, it will be very long. There are quite a lot publications on this topic,  so don't worry about their views' independency. I can't imagine that they are all controlled by the Russians.
BTW, in fact, Czech and Germany has culture connection.

Since it looks like the Western Countries including the USA are going to sit out helping the Ukranian Army, with Fighting troops, I decided to turn the American Units into a Ukranian Force pool. Basically now I can add Javelin's and Tow Missiles to their forces, dressed in the same Ukranian uniforms. I just learned that the Ukranian Military started to get a new assault rifle called the M4-WAC47, which is nothing more than an American M-4 Carbine, 5.56mm, so it won't seem weird to see Ukranian Troops with an M-4. They also started to get the M-107A1 Barrett Sniper Rifle, and Armored Humvee's, .50 cal included. This all started in 2018 under President Trump and this is just some of the kit he supplied to them. If anyone is interested in doing this, give me a shout and I will put it on here, it took a little bit of time getting everything figured out but the best part is now all American Units look no different than the Ukranian Army. Yeah, I totally agree that any country has the right to deploy weapons they see fit. However, US didn't think so in Cuban Crisis and now Putin doesn't think so either. 

Why nuclear weapons are not allowed in Cuba? And if UKR joins NATO, nothing stops UKR has nuclear weapons as Turkey already has.
