Chris Ferrous
First of all, Battlefront, I'd like to express my appreciation for this tremendous game. I've not yet played it long enough to give a detailed analysis or list of minor glitches but it's good, very good. But, I've noticed a minor graphical glitch a few times already even in my limited playthroughs. It is what I'd term the 'Zombie death lurch' which also occurred sometimes in CM1 when the final squad member was eliminated and the squad figure was prone. When this happened in CM1 the figure would rise up like Dracula from his coffin and than flop down on its back, dead. Now, of course, each figure represents just one man but on ocassions if he's lying wounded and later takes a mortal hit (or just dies of wounds already inflicted, I don't know) he will rise up to about 60deg and then suddenly flatten out with the faint skull symbol marker. I feel it would be nice if this minor but immersion busting glitch could be eliminated. Thanks in advance.
Ryujin
Your clearly mistaken, after seeing some of the ground breaking realism features of other comparable titles, like Call of Duty and Wolfenstein, BFC decided to accurately model a chance of zombification as this was clearly a tactical factor in WW2 battles. But as we all know, a casualty's propensity towards becoming a zombie is directly proportional to their Nazi-ness. Seeing as only American and Wehrmacht forces are modeled, they don't make for very good zombies, you'll have to wait for the SS pack to get controllable zombies. (but yeah, I've seen the bug, it changes their death animation. Also seen it with guys who weren't the final squad member)
GreenAsJade
It's the operatic ending ... like in any good western, as well.

Actually lying wounded then taking another hit could quite possibly make you react in some way...
BlackMoria
I am unconcerned. It is when the dead lurch to life and shamble towards my forces that I would be upset. Consider it homage to the 'dramatic death' scenes we see in war movies. I jest...
Sequoia
But as we all know, a casualty's propensity towards becoming a zombie is directly proportional to their Nazi-ness. This is very true. Also at the end of the war, the high ranking Nazis took Hitler's brain and put it in a jar to mastermind his return whereupon it will be implanted into a new body. This sounds evil but the story has a silver lining as Battlefront was able to steal the technology and preserve Charles' brain in a jar for decades to come. Battlefront's next plan is to make 97 clones of Charles' brain in order to churn out new games at a dazzling pace.
benpark
The sound mod should be something along the lines of "They got me Cap'n!! I smell baking bread...ugh...Braaaaiiins!!"

They already tried that, but 96 of the brains tried to take over the world and the plucky original had to kill them all. Govm'nt hushed it up of course, but there's rumours of a Hollywood script ... true story

MikeyD
Are all these zombie observations in WeGo? I play mostly realtime and I seem to be missing all the fun.

Chris Ferrous
Yes, it was in We-Go versus the AI. I first noticed it when it happened at a turn's end and the 'zombie' was suspended frozen in mid-air jusy where I happened tobe watching at the time. I replayed several times and it was consistently there. Since then I have seen it, without deliberately looking for it, on at least three other occasions.
