RommL
I looked for in the editor of scenario and while putting the quality on poor, I did not find these vehicles. I will have to like to find them and modify them.
Sequoia
That was a preliminary list. Those vehicles didn't make the cut. Neither did the Snatch Patrol vehicle. Remember there was a Striker mortar carrier in the preliminary list of the original game.
Battlefront.com
Er... both the FV107 and FV103 are in the game FV103 can be found in several formations, but the easiest is the Armoured Rifle Company's (Warrior based) HQ element. The FV107 is all over the place There's more of those little buggers in the game than you can shake a stick at. The best place to find them is in Saber Squadron in the Armoured Recce Regiment. Snatch was removed because it was found to be a largely peace-keeping roll vehicle, which isn't CM:SF's area of simulation. Steve
hcrof
I think he means without slat armour.
Sequoia
I think Romml means versions of them without slat armor. Edit: Looks like I was beaten to it.
RommL
I think he means without slat armour. Yes I talked about the slat armor...
MikeyD
Not only did you get fewer vehicles, you go more! No uncaged Scimitar and Spartan, but they forgot to mention the two different flavors of Bulldog (three FV432 types) in the game.
Battlefront.com
Ah... the arrows were pointed at the ones without slat armor In any case, they should be in there by changing the Equipment setting. Steve

Steve But they aren't (Scimitar, at least), so we've come full circle to the original question.
Kat Johnston
Would it make any difference? ^^ (edit) Seriously, I've not yet seen a slat-armoured Scimitar survive a hit from anything larger than a machine gun.
Sequoia
Well if they should be there and were left out by mistake (as was the gmg Jackal) why not?
Peter Panzer
Well if they should be there and were left out by mistake (as was the gmg Jackal) why not? That would certainly explain why I haven't been able to find the MWMIK sporting the auto grenade launcher. The light infantry recce platoon sure would benefit from the firepower. Is this going to be corrected - perhaps in v1.21 or as some flavor of "quick fix" download?

I've had one survive a hit from the 73mm gun on the BMP-1.

The light role infantry battalion recce platoon is not scaled for GMG - so although it would benefit from the firepower it won't get it.

The MWMIK with the GMG is definatly in I've used them several times. edit: Or maybe not..... I can't find them now! They're in the manual though.
Sequoia
In another thread Cassio aka Webwing said the MWMIK with the GMG should be back in a patch.
TheVulture
Would it make any difference? ^^ (edit) Seriously, I've not yet seen a slat-armoured Scimitar survive a hit from anything larger than a machine gun. I've had them survive RPG hits thanks to slat armour, althought not very reliably. But scimitars with slat armour do seem to me to have a very high chance of getting all the crew out alive after a hit. Maybe the slats aren't doing enough to prevent a knock-out, but are doing enough to protect the crew? Low statistical sample disclaimer applies
Apocal
Would it make any difference? ^^ As others have noted, it's related more to the survivability of the crew than the vehicle itself.
gibsonm
Of course if you use them as a recce vehicle they tend to survive a bit better than storming the “urban fortress“ with them.
Apocal
Of course if you use them as a recce vehicle they tend to survive a bit better than storming the “urban fortress“ with them. Because ATGMs don't work in the countryside, right?
ScubaSam
I think the HQ jackals of the Recce platoon are GMG equipped, I'm pretty sure I've used them before.
gibsonm
Because ATGMs don't work in the countryside, right? No, but sound recce tactics (such as use of ground) do as well as good old fashioned combined arms techniques such as suppression of the ATGM launcher by supporting callsigns, overwatch and bounding overwatch (or Caterpillar and Leap Frog if you prefer) do.

TheVulture
The airfield mission of the Brit campaign features a GMG WMIK. As does the "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" scenario - the support platoon that turns up after about 15 mins has two GMG and 4 HMG WMIKs.
Sequoia
Okay, try finding them in the scenario editor.
