  1. I expect they were just watching the video, and why not? . Instead of that though they could have been wrapping up the final release...
  2. You make a good point. Not knowing so much about their actions it seems Leipzig was a bit more active in the last days?
  3. That's quite an explosion! Let's not worry about historical accuracy (again) but it could be a secret early nuclear warhead perhaps?
  4. As my previous date of St. Patrick's day was sadly wrong, I have a new suggestion. The anniversary of the Seelow Heights battle (16th April): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Seelow_Heights
  5. Always . Or at least always in relation to when F&R might appear...
  6. Animals are part of the family for us JM, and we don't eat them either. But that doesn't tell a 'worldly' story I suppose. Perhaps we digress my friend?
  7. We are, but we strive to perfect the proportions of eating, sleeping, pissing and other worldly matters. Oh, we forgot drinking...
  8. Wrong Elvis of course but the sentiment is correct . Agreed, this week would be good. Or next. If it's any later I'm worried about @Aragorn2002.
  9. When I bought the BN bundle last year (yes, late into the game I know) I think I only had to use a single activation key to get the whole lot working. Memory might be playing tricks however. Anyway if you're still having trouble I would open a Helpdesk ticket at the BFC website and John @BFCElvis will get you sorted.
  10. In Rotmistrov's circumstances this is understandable and surprisingly successful, although apparently it did not go un-noticed by Stalin. Interesting stuff - so much for the 'facts' we all grew up with .
  11. For historical accuracy we should determine the ratio of numbers of downed 109s to numbers of outside privies in 1944 in close location to @Falaise's beautiful home territory.
  12. So in summary (from these recent papers, based on supposedly rock solid German and importantly Soviet sources) German losses at Prokhorovka were 16 AFVs maximum, while Soviet losses were 235. So Kursk as an offensive may have been a failure for Germany but it looks like Prokhorovka as a battle wasn't? Propaganda notwithstanding...
  13. So according to all of the latest papers I've read, the Germans lost hardly any armour at Prokhorovka. Or am I misunderstanding this? If Kursk was so bad for Germany, does this just mean losses were somewhere other than Prokhorovka? It seems not according to the figures. So the 'badness' was just that they did not achieve a victory in their offensive at Kursk?
  14. I've just ordered a second hand copy of Zamulin's 'Demolishing The Myth: The Tank Battle at Prokhorovka, Kursk, July 1943: An Operational Narrative' (and yes I did see a website offering a free download). So when is 'CM : Kursk' due for release? Or will it be part of 'CM : Babarossa to (just before) Bagration' ?
  15. So a bit like a modern 'Battle of the Bulge Then and Now' (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Battle-Bulge-Then-Jean-Paul-Pallud/dp/0900913401)? An absolute classic, as good now as it was then . And currently on the floor by my bed...
  16. @RepsolCBR what did you think of this one, it sounds good? Found a cheap paperback version for sale so might give it a go.
  17. Agreed. And yes BN is a good way to start, go for the bundle if possible. Or you could start with RT like I did, which is also great but it might be worth waiting until F&R comes out on that one.
  18. I'll PM you with an email address just in case .
