  1. We have a choice to use it or not. Battlefront probably gets a higher turnover of their software to state the obvious.
  2. The price must have been right. They should rename it the FOKKER as it will destroy enemy armor. This acceptable Dutch word is related to the unacceptable English word
  3. Postprocessing of screenshots. I used the tone mapping feature of my software. Edge of Darkness. Using the 'Hunt Movement Order' towards a strong contact. Normal travel mode towards the last terrain feature between contact, start hunt movement order towards the contact.
  4. *SPOILERS* In SF2 don't go inside buildings to capture surrendering Syrians. Breaking the Bank and Cain and Abel it is a time waster and it cost you units. They can return to their own units. In modern warfare the APC is expendable if you look only at Dollars and Cents the APC is cheaper to produce than training an Elite Trooper. Besides human losses affects morale. This is what makes modern warfare different Time is limited and body bags are the parameters your efforts are judged by.
  5. Got caught a few times so by coincidence some area fire. If the white flag doesn't show inside a couple of minutes the area is still covered by enemy forces. Did anybody test this? You could lose some points but it should be possible to shoot prisoners. Or get a bonus if you capture some. It is funny they take out a leader and 10 seconds later their arms go up. It is a political correct game.
  6. Be very cautious. Observers a very short arc it means they hold their fire. Tanks if they travel from right to left on the map. In this case a huge arc so he turns the gun in the right direction. Especially in modern warfare be prepared for anything. It seems a good idea to give your Javelin an armor arc. Till you see that a Kornet takes him out with 30 seconds to spare.
  7. Doors are not locked in CM, so a 15 second area fire before entering usually solves the problem. By the way I thought you couldn't do this. One way to deal with the 'Human Shield' tactics. No white flag means enemy units are still nearby. Seems to be true but I don't know for sure.
  8. I think and it is also my personal experience. If you first uninstall the game on your computer and still have your license key you can download the game again from their website. The game available for download is the latest version. Uninstall with their uninstall app don't use the Microsoft uninstall feature.
  9. In RL I can aim through a real riflescope. I came up with this one to save time. Example, I approach a town place a waypoint inside the church steeple and see right away where I can dismount the units, and plot a firing position for an AFV to lob some HE there. Also I can order 30 men to do an area recon, playing a game you must put yourself in the shoes of 30 different characters. I enjoy playing huge scenarios a lot more. An other one playing Soviet and they have next to no radios. So I exploit the Go to Spotter feature. Since an HQ (With or without radios) can always access Mortars this becomes a hypothetical communications link. An attack is artillery led or armor led. I agree we can never get rid of the Camera 4 position which makes the players administration more manageable. If you play PBEM I hate to see bones of contention in which manner one can play the game. Kind regards.
  10. It is the principle of "Tracers work both ways." If you rehearse a real mission you can find observation posts and fire positions on a topographic map.
  11. You don't have to script a trigger? The only secure way is to flatten the compound in other words.
  12. Neither when you play SF2 compare the hostages with conscripts in CM. Without them you don't know the location of the enemy. The police who commence the engagement. Princes Gate by police negotiations in a CM a firefight. Once you have your intel you move in with your elite. The principle is the same.
  13. Check how in real life the best of the best did this. Princes Gate Iranian Embassy they didn't open the windows they blew their way in.
  14. It happened I think because a viewer complained about the resolution of an image of one of my post. When I checked on the computer I noticed it was still syncing. Yes something similar may have happened to your post.
  15. Could there be a conflict if you use the Windows AP instead of using the Uninstall AP which comes with a BF Game?
  16. That is because he just pressed the insert button before the graphic was fully uploaded from his device. Same happened to me a few weeks ago. We need hosting services as we can post otherwise low resolution graphics only.
  17. It is all generic. Tanks can't drive through walls, 2 persons holding a rifle can't raise a third person to enter a house on the first floor up from the ground floor through the window. Houses don't have separate rooms and no cellars. We don't have choppers to land units on rooftops. Why we don't have these I don't know probably to do with the data to makes this game work. Enter through the door or doors even though you may have been told before to make your own openings. Give every trooper a 'Blast' order in the command panel and not just only engineers and US Airborne units.
  18. As I human player I often wondered the same as the ammo bearer of Gun A can't supply Gun B for some reason. If you could split the team like a rifle squad it would solve some problems. You are even more restricted as an editor I understand.
  19. I played Mountains of the Moon as Soviet and was pleasantly surprised the Valentines were very effective against Germans in foxholes. Comparing the HE animations with the animations of the T34/85 there was little or no difference.
  20. I use the ammo bearer as the scout for the unit. Same with the .30 or .50 Browning MG. The first half of the team positions the tri-pod then the second half places the MG on the tri-pod. That is how it is supposed to work we need the unit and be able to split when we reposition. Now the ammo bearer acts as security for the team and we have a team we can't split.
  21. If you put the ammo bearer first at the location of the firing position, the gun will first use the ammo of the ammo bearer.
  22. Good theory it is the best explanation I know their 57 mm AT gun had also a higher velocity. Thank you for pointing this out. I certainly noticed the difference between 57 mm Churchills and the 57 mm Valentines when it came to HE.
  23. Thanks to you both, it is just my perception about the Valentine in F&R.
  24. Command vehicle? They have radios. I played a game yesterday with the 57mm (6Pounder) Churchills. In Battle for Normandy the 57 mm HE is a lot less effective than in F&R. Mods can be seen as a very effective camouflage.
