  1. Is or was a fine anti-tank gun but the HE was not very effective. In the game it is a very effective tank on par with T34/85 and the ISU 152. The HE lobs neatly in the foxholes. I carry on with the game would be better if I had T34/76 in this scenario just for the sake of realism.
  2. *SPOILER* You may recognize the scenario. The Pak75 gave its position away. Hilltops should be used for Observation Posts only. Sure, you can shoot at everybody advancing, while you can shoot at one target at a time all your targets can shoot back at you. No armor was lost as they stay at their firing position for 10 seconds only. Infantry spotted the AT-Gun from 1100 meters away. Mortar is called in by the Platoon HQ of the engineers.
  3. The sender is battlefront the receiver is the customer. Battlefront sends the game in a Zip File. The customer sees the progress on his PC if it is too slow, I imagine he would notify battlefront. Instead, he addresses his issue here. Unzipping an RAR is the end of the download cycle. For me it is completed once I can play the game. Just learn to live with different points of view. Elvis suggests a different browser I just stick with Microsoft Edge which doesn't give me any problems with downloading. With me the game just sat in my computer as I didn't have a program to Unzip an RAR File. Fortunately, they come for free from the Window Store. Wished that Battlefront would point this out to their customers.
  4. If it didn't help just tough. Download was spinning. Not very clear it is the sender one would think. But the input from BF came in very late. Downloads slow I still has to experience that problem. The receiver, I just shared the problems I had before. Happy gaming.
  5. You purchase the product than you need to check your Email to trigger the download otherwise it will be on pending for a long time. In my case the link was in my junk folder. My problem was the RAR files for which I had to download another software which in my opinion should be included with the product.
  6. Yes, not much going on, you need to be an editor. With SF2 I just got cheesed off about Urban Warfare it is not developed enough. Marksmen go on the balcony's trooper take the main entrance instead of the backdoor. Even for WW2 you need cellars and tunnels.
  7. The 100 mm on the SU100 and T54-55 started as a naval gun. I like the Soviet philosophy: We have a lot of 122 and 152mm field guns let's design an AFV around them. They didn't have too many 100mm then the IS2 would have been a lot better, I think.
  8. Write them down on this forum. Hope they listen to the customers for a change. I just don't accept that the Valentine is on par with the ISU152 or the T34/85 when it deals with infantry. My experience with Fire and Rubble. The 57 mm aka the Six-Pounder is a fine AT-Gun but as a He-Gun not on par with the 75mm on the Sherman or T34/76.
  9. SF2 is the first and last modern era game I bought for that reason I think about uninstalling it. They should stay out of silly politics enough of ranting for the time being. The biggest issue I have with SF2 is the AI behaviour doing silly things which at times are contrary of the orders you place. IED's seems to work as intended when you play RTS not when you play WEGO. My favourite games are FB and Battle for Normandy RT and FR if it was more historically accurate. The original RT is better.
  10. My opinion only, the game is biased towards Lend and Lease equipment it seems. The M4 Sherman have smoke Soviet tanks don't in regards to the Valentine I wonder why the British purchased the M4 and send their Valentines to the Soviet Union. Yes, with the magic six-pounder you don't need machine guns.
  11. Six-Pounder Valentine in Mountains of the Moon. They do better than the T34/85 or at least on par. Oh, I forgot about the ISU152's they are the underdog in the accuracy department in that game. Bugs like these are not reported I suppose at least if you play Russian. If you find the Six-Pounder Valentine superior than the ISU152 something is odd. I let the TacAI doing 90% of the work they react on full contact, the Valentine's at times spot as well as infantry.
  12. That is for Steve to solve, I would say Zip Files would have solved that problem.
  13. I would contact Steve just to make sure you put the upgrade in the right folder.
  14. I started Fire and Rubble and started To Berlin then a patch came out a week later and something like 40 minutes was added on the first mission. Then I restarted it and with 40 minutes to go and thanks to the spoilers the Germans surrendered. I have not touched it since then. Hammers Flank of the original RT is still my favorite. Better to wait a little longer and make sure everything works as intended.
  15. UK Breaking the Bank borders on unplayable just because the units don't make common sense decisions. Going on the street without ordered to do so. Shooting from the balcony you must think about these silly things 100% of the time. It is no fun this scenario.
  16. It depends how many times you used your activations.
  17. You need software to unzip RAR files. Then save the installer on the desktop. The software itself can be installed on any drive but preferably on the C:Drive.
  18. Soviet infantry has little or no radios up to company level. Therefore, Infantry through their HQ's can pass on intel to the fire direction center by calling a strike or notify nearby armor. Here they notified the armor. In this case a tank the vehicle must be unbuttoned and no further away than 32 metres (four action squares). The C2 on Soviet tanks is on par with other allied units. Mountains of the Moon Scenario was selected to illustrate this point. Some people use runners to pass on intel I think these methods have merit. Attacks must be led by armor or artillery. Infantry has no way to pass on intel independently as US or British Commonwealth units do.
  19. The Stryker takes off from the Humvee which was not robust enough for urban warfare. You don't make yourself very popular with the locals if you rip their infrastructure up with tracked vehicles. It is fair comment to say it doesn't matter in CM but for the sake of history Strykers were used with this consideration in mind. Air portability is another consideration. I think it is one hell of a system.
