    The SA voices are in the game files. I've listened to some and I can say that the English-speaking ones are not immersive at all ("They'll kill us all. Run." spoken in a completely nonchalant tone. All of them are.), and are too quiet. Which is probably the problem, another thing I can think of is them not being named right, as I saw some of them with misspelled names.
    The Afrikaans ones are okay, but like the English ones some of them are misspelled as well.

    It all depends on how BF made them in the game files. And in this case there's only one: smod_french_hat-kepi
    I don't know if it's tied to it, but US uniforms do not have this level of detail as well.
    It also seems technically impossible to make officers and such have caucasian skins, or enlisted to speak arabic due to how the game is built.
    It would have been interesting if BF had worked on these details more, but at this rate I'd rather wait for CMx3 so they can get all of this stuff in order and make us modders benefit.

    Having an autoloader doesn't mean that being a tank crewman is less manual. What do you do when your tank throws a track, or something else fails and doesn't really warrant a recovery crew?

    The Archer driving "forward" is it driving in reverse. So put reverse orders if you want it to advance with the gun facing forward. If it's facing orders, just make it face the opposite way you want the gun to be pointed at. It's not that hard.

    The kepi of the game is a foreign legion kepi !!
    The most common for the game is that of tirailleur whether he is Algerian RTA or Moroccan RTM with the blue sky "bandeau" I did neither the crescent nor the star Sherifian to be versatile !!!
    The helmets of the North African troops were partly color mustard.
    the factory helmet had a khaki color at the beginning of the war however the liberation army repainted its helmets in dark green and a part of the manufacturing had an aluminum crest and the paints peeled
    finally I put leather jugulars on the tanker helmet

    The M5A1 Stuart can also fire its .30 cal AAMG if there's targets to its right side and it's unbuttoned.

    It has been said that modelling new weaponry is one of the easiest parts of the whole thing. So if we can have the right gun in the right hands at the right time, go for it.

    Ts4EVER mentioned that it would be nice to see more captured equipment in the game. In response to that you decided to fill up the thread with your chaff attacking him for some thing or another that happened on youtube. If you think that is defending BF (or that they particularly need a white knight on their own forum) please stop it.

    If you don't like his content go to youtube and dislike it, unsubscribe, post in the comments section. But so far in this thread you are the one making an unpleasant ruckus and not Ts4EVER.  There are 31 posts in this thread - nearly a full 25% of them consist of you complaining. Yet Ts4EVER is the problem.

    I would like to see far more captured weapons, and hopefully as modules finally release for RT and FB we'll see some. One thing I've noticed reading veteran's narratives are that captured equipment were found almost everywhere - although I'm sure that has a bit to do with them sticking out in the minds of the soldier at the time. Its worth pointing out that someone is using a PPSH, and not so much all the guy with MP-40s.

     

    Most of what I've read points to the Germans having a general issue getting supplies to men at the front, and not necessarily an actual lack of the item. E.G. many German units were understrength not so much because there weren't men to fill the spots - but that the men weren't where replacements were needed.

    I think BF could investigate adding new weapons like these in addition to vehicles. I doubt it would cost many resources, and it would add a nice touch to low-quality and rear-guard units.
    I have noticed that many vehicles introduced by some modules could be added to other games. The Brummbar from CMFI and CMFB could find its way into CMBN, like the upcoming StuG IV for R2V.

    I think BF could investigate adding new weapons like these in addition to vehicles. I doubt it would cost many resources, and it would add a nice touch to low-quality and rear-guard units.

    I dunno, have you ever fired a WW2 submachine gun full auto? 
    The difference in burst length with weapons like the MP-40 would be about 1 or 2 rounds. The rate of fire and weight makes it easier to control overall, as I've seen in videos. Pushing against the weapon's recoil does not rule out aiming at another spot, by rotating your waist for example, ejecting casings have nothing to do with that at all.
     
    It would be interesting if Thompson users started using the semi-auto mode around 200 meters. It's not just for show, and you find yourself short of .45 ammo pretty often.

    Just because they call it an "engine upgrade" doesn't mean it's more than a patch. Bug fixes and quality of life improvements behind a paywall are on the same level as those silly loot boxes they have in "triple A" games. Also nice from warts and all to apparently completely leave behind the point of "plugging new games", instead looping back to the start, ensuring that the conversation will go nowhere. But I guess at least you displayed what you mistake for wit, so congrats.
    Anyway, to actually return to the way more interesting discussion of this thread:
    Well, let's look at the monthly reports of different divisions. This time around the late 1944 era, since we are in the Ardennes game forum.
    Lastly, for the Red Thunder game;
    In conclusion, I think it would be cool to have this kind of obsolete or foreign equipment ingame, maybe when setting equipment levels to low. Some of these weapons actually already exist ingame and the Beretta MP is already used by Germans in Fortress Italy.

    Okay then, I had a suspicion that it could have been that too. Strange that Nazi Germany had more machinegunners than it had machine guns at that point, a matter of having the right stuff at the right place and time, then?
    I usually forget about the unit quality selection, since it's quite hard to notice.

    Yes, Hitler had a passion and technical skills for drawing buildings. But you can't really get into art school if that's basically all you want to draw, there's more to it than that. Art is something that is used to transmit emotions or otherwise some kind of meaning, and Hitler's disinterest in that pretty much sealed his fate.

    That could be problematic, since the maximum game date does not, or barely goes past the end of the battle of Monte Cassino. For now.
     
    In my opinion the SMLE's wood looks way too green, very unnatural for a WW1/WW2 rifle. I don't see how you could be content with this result, Oleksandr.
     
    Vein's CMFI uniform mod has textures for the Polish Carpathian Division. I suggest you check it out, though inaccuracies are present. An idea for a new mod could be the Kresowa Division.
