  1. Got it!!! Wow, this is pretty cool. I will play around with it in the scenario and if I come across any problems I'll let you know. Your mod combined with @Oliver_88 mod (removes British formation marking) is making for some cool looking mercenary types in the fictional scenario (along the lines of 5 commando in the Congo). Thanks again for sharing this. When I get the scenario released (probably a month or two after Rome to Victory is released) I will credit you and Oliver 88 in the scenario Designer Notes. Very cool look with the berets!
  2. +1 Very cool. I have a scenario I'm working on for CMFI. I hope to release said scenario after the Rome to Victory module. I would like to try this mod in the scenario. Which troops does the mod effect? Does it replace the headgear of all commonwealth forces? Please release the mod when/if you are satisfied with it. Looks very good from the screenshot.
  3. Below is a link to a post in a thread that talks about Buddy Aid in detail to include how the AAR points work. The specific posts describes a drill/SOP to encourage a team to Buddy Aid a casualty. The entire thread has information on Buddy Aid scattered throughout. http://community.battlefront.com/topic/125985-buddy-aid/?do=findComment&comment=1730313
  4. Wow, this is a long thread. I have not read or re-read all of it yet but I'm working on a scenario with this map. This is an amazing map, very cool. So my question, is your Shopfront mod available? I didn't see it at CMMODs III.
  5. There is a Facebook page, "Battlefront". The last BFC post was April 2016 for the release of CMFB and for a CMBN battle pack. Not sure how quick they would update the FB page after CMSF2 is released.............
  6. Somebody will probably be along to recommend a source for detailed OOB (they will probably want to know which army / front and time frame you are interested in). IMO for a semi-historical battle it does not have to be very complicated. Battlefront goes through a lot of research and effort to provide the TOE of typical battalions and below at full strength (they also provide straggler units). I would just take what they provide and then weaken the unit the appropriate amount to show attrition from fighting. Now if you were wanting to make a historical battle with a specific unit on a specific date that would need to be much more detailed and the research effort could be massive. Scenario design is fun but is also a lot of work. If you try to keep it simple you are more likely to get it finished.
  7. +1 Thanks John!! You have an impressive ability to track stuff down on-line.
  8. Bootie has a delay on comments so they can be reviewed before they post. If you make a comment on Tactical Operations Center it will be displayed in the comments section within 24 hours.
  9. Thanks Ian!! I hope you enjoy it and find it interesting. Depending on your choices it will probably get even more interesting in the next 15 minutes or so. Also should experience a new form of intelligence dissemination in that time frame. Thank you for the comment at the Scenario Depot. Thank you @sburke, @Sgt.Squarehead and @Erwin for comments at the scenario depot and for testing. It means a lot to the designer of a scenario to get feedback on the scenario.
  10. Cool, informative SitMap. The fight to the north (I think north is the top of the map in this screenshot) looks like it could be interesting and decisive.
  11. My hope is that the last release for CMFB will be an equipment pack introducing Soviet forces/equipment into CMFB. Call it meeting on the Elbe River or something. Then the US, Commonwealth and Soviets would all be in the same Combat Mission game. No BFC created scenarios would be needed. Just an equipment pack of already designed equipment ported over from CMRT. Scenario designers and mod creators could do all kinds of cold war, neo-colonialism stuff. Including Korea. I could make a long list of all the independent scenarios/campaigns that could be created from this but I'll just leave it at Korea. I hope the effort to profit ratio would be favorable enough for BFC to make this happen.
  12. +1 Very cool. Thanks for posting the screenshots. And look, it appears to be a fortified building. The sandbag wall is inside the building.
  13. + 1 and thanks for sharing this video!! Also, that's a cool avatar you have. AIRBORNE!!!
  14. Well, I have it now. Nice map. Even a Power Plant, horse farm and WWII Battlefield Memorial, etc............... +1 Left a comment about it at The Scenario Depot. Maybe we can get some scenarios made with this map.
  15. Hmmm, I'm probably doing something wrong but I'm not finding Ukrainian Crossroads. I also looked in Campaigns.
  16. That's interesting. I thought the incoming fire made troops drop when on Hunt. But maybe the incoming fire gives away the location of the enemy unit and this "spotting" of the enemy unit makes the Hunting unit drop.................. There is also the 360o Target Arc that can be placed on a Hunting unit (typically scouts) which may also affect the "drop". Maybe the motivation also?? Then the different combinations of these and maybe other factors. So many things to test and so little time..................
  17. It was created with Engine 4 but I can't think of a reason why it would not run on engine 3. It has supply dumps so it should be played on Elite or Iron for the supply dumps. That's the only thing I can think of.
  18. @IanL I know there is a lot to read and digest in the briefing. At the very end of the briefing there is a Shift Commander's Checklist. This checklist, if followed, generally keeps the player aware of the changing situation and reduces confusion. SHIFT COMMANDER'S CHECKLIST: Check TOC building for Ukrainian liaison officers. Check interview room for new defectors with intelligence. (In the name field of the defector in the user interface) Check North Outpost HQ for new defectors with intelligence. Check motor pool for vehicles returned to service. Check UAV surveillance areas. Check HLZ for reinforcements. Check friendly reinforcement arrival times & locations. Remember: US Engineers & Separatist defectors must exit before the end of your shift (1700hrs). GOOD LUCK!!
  19. Good eyes!! Yes. It was a PBEM tournament game at the Few Good Men.
  20. Civilian vehicles at Checkpoint Eagle #1. Tried to post more but Imgur hosting site is having problems.
