That's not true at all.
What actually happened was that there was initially some quite polite discussion about how it should work, both from a historical and gameplay perspective.
But then very quickly, MikeyD stepped in and said uncontrolled air support in Normandy was actually an unintentional change in CMBN. It was then quickly reverted to how it used to be with a patch.

If a Churchill AVRE is attached as a single vehicle, it will have a unified 6 man crew instead of the 3 man crew + the 3 man sapper/dismount team it's supposed to have, or with just a 3 man crew and no sapper/dismounts.
This bug manifests itself differently depending on the level at which the tank is attached. At lower levels (e.g. platoon level), it will be a 3 man crew tank with 3 empty slots for a sapper team which is missing. If attached higher up (e.g. squadron level), it'll be a unified 6 man crew.

China and Russia are definitely pushing for a multi polar world where the USD is less prominent. As we've seen in the Ukraine war, any nation that goes against the US interests can be locked out of the global banking system. I'm sure finding ways to circumvent this is top priority.

When I look at the links, I only see Ukrainians talking.

At first, we were surprised that Putin would actually go ahead and invade.
Then we were surprised that Ukraine didn't simply collapse.
Then we were surprised that the Russian Army was beaten badly and had to let go of huge areas.
Then we were surprised that the Ukrainian summer offensive completely failed, despite all the Western weapons.
An then now we are very surprised that the Russians are able to not just prevent collapse, but even mount a winter offensive and are taking ground.
 
I would be surprised if this is the last surprise of this war.

Speaking as a lawyer in the field, There's nothing in a EULA which could prevent anyone from subscribing/donating to a patreon account for someone who makes mods so long as the mods are publicly available and not dependent upon payments being received. It would simply not be enforceable.
It's technically illegal in some places to stream gaming content but for obvious reasons it's tolerated.

This will be my last comment on this topic:
1. I will not defend myself against accusations that are absolutely grotesque. What do you think? That I am selling Battlefront products illegally via their official forum? To earn what? 150 Dollars ? 😂
2. I have invested a lot of time to create such a huge BattlePack. It was primarily for my personal pleasure. Why did I invest so much time ? I don’t normally post any personal backgrounds, but in this context let me give a short explanation: 
After working in Level A hospitals for 15 years, during the last year I was member of a medical intervention team. My job is to wait for emergency calls. Sometimes there isn‘t any of these so that you are waiting for endless hours. During this time, I am payed AND I can do what I like: sleeping, reading books or watching TV … or doing some PC game stuff like CM. For example: some month ago, last September I started my day and we had to resuscitate a three year old boy who had a cardiac arrest when suddenly stop breathing while he was sleeping. His diagnosis was a huge brain tumor and he passed away some weeks later. Some hours later, I had to open the chest of a 24 year old girl in the ditch who was trapped under her own car. 
Between these two rescue missions, I created CM stuff, as a form of relaxation. 
 
3. Of course, if one creates such stuff, it is nice to share the result with a community like in this forum. I did contact Battlefront in order to get (may be) some logistical support (especially for playtesting) and to offer them to use my work for their own - without any financial interest !!! I thought there was some enthusiasm there for such projects, but this idea was completely naiv. Did I care about that? No, I didn‘t. I continued with my project because it was my own pleasure.
4. Why did I go the way of „pre-ordering“? Sometimes, if you make content and it is placed on an uploading platform, it feels as if your content is swallowed by a kind of blackwhole. So, I have decided to make it this way, in a more personal form. When the content is ready, I will send it to all the guys who like to get it. Nothing more…no payment, no abuse of mail-adresses, only some harmless files of a OC game.
5. My personal happiness does not depend on such game stuff. I have enough real life, children etc.
If players like the content, it will be a pleasure for me. If they don’t like it, it is absolutely ok. And even if my computer should crash and all my stuff was destroyed - so what. It is only a hobby, little fun, nothing more.

Watching a video about how FPV drones are now mass-produced in their tens of thousands using 3D printing, how long before we see a head of state assassinated this way?

I think SMGs are too effective at long range, but should be even more powerful at short range.
It's not only about accuracy and bullet spread, but also about how you'd use an SMG at short ranges, and how it's not really modelled in the game.
If you see an enemy soldier run across a road, you'd be able to start firing and then walk the fire on target while you hold down the trigger.
And if you see an enemy run into vegetation, you could hose down several bushes with a long sweeping burst.
But in the game, if the target is a running soldier, the SMG guy will adjust his aim but keep firing just behind the target.
And in the case of vegetation, he will choose only one spot and then unload a long burst into the ground at that point. Then choose a new point and do another long burst, etc.

What makes you think that? I don't want to trigger yet another discussion about how good game X is compared to game Y but Graviteam has insane TO&E and OOB, at least for those operations I could verifiy it for. Some other battles and operations are so obscure that there aren't any published sources in English for it. Look at e.g. the "Bird Grove" DLC where a user has compiled a +100 pages book with English translations of the original Russian and German war diaries, including 'exact' notes on what equipment was used, lost, destroyed etc.
In fact, I would say that Graviteam Tactics doesn't really look like a correct TO&E and OOB because there hardly ever was a thing like that in real life, especially from 1942 onwards: so many cobbled together Kampfgruppen and ill equipped 'divisions'. Combat Mission does the same, of course.

man, I really wish the Combat Mission Series would rise again and new capabilities on the game too.

In an age of uber-industrialized addiction, lack of affordable & indigent housing, lack of any real systems of drug treatment, lack of adequate mental health support, WTF do we expect?  I see & hear lots of people s--ing on the homeless (not you, Bulletpoint), but this is not all just due to being lazy & immoral like many folks seem to think.  This is a symptom of our society's unaddressed problems, not the underlying disease.
