  1. Ah, sorry, my mistake. I mixed up Game Engine 4 and Version 2 once again. All clear now.
  2. Hmm, can‘t you discount the VAT somehow from the famous 350 million per week, which you now save elsewhere?
  3. Yeah, this may give some important insights:
  4. Yep, from reading the account, I had the impression that it is more a translation issue. Probably the writer of the original account was not a technically expert, but tried to use technical terms and than the text was translated to English by another „non-expert“. Such texts usually need some „creative interpretation“ to decipher them. I see those things almost daily, when clients try to describe what their problem is.
  5. Thanks for mentioning that. Your previous query reminds me too: Quite a long time ago, say 2 or 3 years, I have seen a „complete“ list of CMBN scenarios and campaigns here in the forum. Very nicely done, even with download links. Probably, it is meanwhile outdated in terms of new content, but I guess the harder to find old stuff is more interesting for you anyway. Right now, I can‘t remember who made the list, but I may be able to find the thread.
  6. Well, it is more of a feeling, since I obviously have no numbers, but I still think the TC impact is not big. My tanks mostly travel with closed hatches and when I order them open up, the Pixeltruppen usually close the hatches quickly. In any case, I don’t see much of a difference. Did anybody ever check that in a test set-up? In a normal game situation with loads of contributing factors, it is in anyway hard to tell which factor is governing.
  7. Interesting, I found the loss of a TC in CM1 quite devastating (and tried to „hunt“ them with snipers), but I don‘t find a TC loss in CM2 too important.
  8. @Bubba883XL Try here: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/desert-commander-nes Looks like they have the whole sound track for the game (and many other treasure from the past).
  9. Reading your history, I‘d say BN. Only BN, in a bundle or all content depends on how much you want to spent. Though the big bundle certainly is a good deal. And as @Vacilllator says, trying the demos first is highly recommend. I am not quite sure, to which version they have been updated, but I think that does not really matter for a start. You‘ll get a good impression anyway. Just don‘t be disappointed by the graphics of the demos. That can be fixed with mods in the full games.
  10. So you are saying: The leader, supported by scouting units, should be in a location, from which he has an overview of the operational area and which is close enough to the subordinate units, to control and direct them. Ah, ja. That‘s a new concept.
  11. @Bud BackerAhhhhhh, got it! Thanks for the Dummy advise. And now, I'll beat you in PC.
  12. You mean, I insert this: https://imgur.com/a/4LIFK6H
  13. Next try. Hm, does not work either. Does anybody have an instruction for Dummies?
  14. Thanks for the feedback, I keep trying.
  15. I just wanted to try Imgur and thought, yopu might like this pic from the door to the maintenance shop of the Messerschmitt Museum: <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="a/4LIFK6H" data-context="false" ><a href="//imgur.com/a/4LIFK6H"></a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  16. The issue is: You cannot easily apply text book solutions to RL situations. E.g., have you ever tried to apply a math text book solution to a RL technical issue? Just as in CM, you will quickly find out, that RL is a little more complicated. You may need to gather additional info, make assumptions, simplify things... And now back to @Sgt.Squarehead
  17. Yep, coming from that region, I would love to see a TF Welborn scenario. As I recall, this was the last larger tank engagement of the war and therefore certainly is some sort of „milestone“. There were one or two scenario attempts for CMx1, but they were not very convincing. Otherwise, I remember a pretty good Northeim campaign for CMx1, which I would love to play with CMFB. And the Harz should offer room for small scale actions in extremely difficult terrain.
  18. Ok, uploaded. The clips are not exactly "big screen" quality but should make you greedy enough. And just for the fun of it, I uploaded 2 clips of the Churchill Crocodile in action, too. You may need the VLC Media Player or similar to watch the AVI files. My «normal» Windows player did not want to play them.
  19. I‘ll try to make a video with a flail Sherman and load it to the Dropbox. Tonight or tomorrow or so....
  20. Agreed, the equipment is great. But, at least to my knowledge, there is still very little content for the beautiful stuff.
