Well, I am mechanical engineer, building 600tons machines which travel on rails. So, yes, my idea may have a fairly solid base.😎
I, too, found it remarkable, how the guys try to aling the tracks with the rails. I would describe the same in a method statement. Good engineering practice. And good to see that not all is just theory.🙂

They took care of the problem with adding any new models and such was a nightmare.  Now they have the "problem" that the TACAI is very complex.  The biggest problem right now is the infantry running away from entrenchments but that same fix also gave us infantry that spread out when moving forward instead of moving in a line to get shot like ducks in a row, Shooting around corners, and a couple other items I forgot.  I can easily see how that code base is a pain to work with.

The weekend just wouldn't be the same without this.

The next part, taking us up to turn 80.

As a backup, do what I do. Many years ago I sent an email to myself with all my CM keys. I then created a folder and stored the email in it. Every time I get a new game or module I cut and paste the old keys along with the new key into a fresh email and repeat the process. I also have a text file on my comp. So between my email, BFC, and comp, I am completely covered.

I'm not expert on this, but how much time it takes to train solder in " kill machine " in this modern era? I don't believe in WWII there was plenty of time for training and lot of soldiers weren't born killers. (like today.. ;)).
p.s. I can tell you for Yugoslav partisans there was almost no training, you were happy if you had a gun.... and there were a headless chickens moments..
