Yes i think they moved everything to Fort Lee, VA a couple of years ago. I only live about 20 minutes from Aberdeen and used to love going there and walking among the old tanks and through the museum. I am fortunate to have taken quite a few pictures. But Steve is right, most of the armor was not kept in very good condition.

Yes a preview of coming attractions would be nice before the holidays. Something to look forward to in 2014. I am curious as to which will come first...The Eastern Front game or the Return to Modern Warfare game?

Thanks Fenris for posting this...just picked it up myself. Also noticed that Rick Atkinson's "Army at Dawn, Battle for North Africa" and " Day of Battle, The War in Sicily and Italy" Kindle editions are both on sale for $1.40 each. I have the books and both are great reads.

Has it been confirmed yet that the Eastern Front game will be the next release? I think in another thread Steve said both the Eastern Front game and the New Modern temperate setting game were both well along in development. Just wondering which one will get released first?

Yes that's true but the maps will still have to be loaded in the editor to be edited. I know some people were having problems with an out-of-memory error when trying to load very large maps earlier. Maybe that's been fixed now? I am willing to bet that someone takes one of these gorgeous maps and tries to make a battalion vs battalion scenario.

Yes they look fantastic. I am curious though, as they are quite large and detailed, if they will load and run ok on computers that are a bit older?

I have a 5770HD card myself and I also have problems with fog. A little different in that the terrain becomes blocky in any fog setting. It must just be a problem with the ati drivers.

One of my favorite AFVs from the old CMBO days. Does anyone know if we will see this tank destroyer in the Market Garden module? I don't recall when they were first in combat on the western front.

Wow, a blast from the past. I never posted much back in those days, but I do remember reading many of your posts when I joined the forum shortly after CMBO was released. Your AAR's and strategy guides helped me enjoy the games much more. Always wondered what happened to you. Good to hear you are doing well and still enjoying wargaming and the CMx2 games. I hope BFC will give you another chance and you will find time to post some more on the forums.

Looking forward to this. I always thought of trying my hand at making a small scenario but found it a bit intimidating. Be good to see how one the experts goes about it. Thanks JonS...will be following closely.

I have the same video card...Radeon HD 5770. I can see the fog fine, my problem is it makes the terrain look very blocky. Light fog is not too bad, but dense fog is just about unplayable because of this effect. Might be a driver issue or maybe some kind of setting in the Control Panel.

If I remember correctly, BFC was considering some sort of "tile" system where smaller maps could be joined together to form larger maps for use in QB's. I wonder if that idea has been shelved or if it is still planned for sometime down the road?

The thing I miss most is the Eastern Front. Hopefully that will be remedied before the end of the year
