You forgot to add ...In my opinion....I don't agree at all. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think the standard textures are quite good. Maybe because I don't play FPS'ers, but I am amazed at how good the tanks and other vehicles look,and I think terrain is more than adequate. If I have any beef at all, it's that everything looks a bit too "clean". -
Hmmmm....Red Dawn? Sounds intriguing. I wonder if the terrain and buildings could be modded to look like the USA?

That's true. I just thought with the demo being released with version 1.02, that the patch might be coming shortly.

Got the same thing yesterday Nidan when I visited Twitch. Had to change my password. I don't think they have any sensitive information like credit card numbers or anything.

Not that I know of. I saw a thread in the mods forum where George MC released a version of the demo scenario that uses the 1.02 patch. That's why I asked. I assumed it would be coming out soon.

Any ETA on the 1.02 Patch? Was going to hold off starting a new campaign to see what changes are in it. This week maybe? Or longer?

Just noticed this on a QB map I was checking out. The second story walls of some of the buildings are missing. The map is QB Hills-Forest (848x1008) 228.

A snow module! I'd buy it....just winterize the terrain and vehicles already in the game. Maybe add a few scenarios.

If I remember correctly, when BFC first started developing the CMx2 engine for Shock Force, they stated that it was designed for company size engagements. I know they have optimized the engine since then to allow for larger maps and forces but some of the scenario designers are really pushing the limits with highly detailed maps and battalion size forces. Sometimes you just have to drop some of detail settings or turn shadows and shaders off to get high frame rates on the very large scenarios. -

I agree they look strange at certain angles but I usually play with them on. They add a bit of depth to the battlefield that is missing when they are turned off.

Woke up at 4 AM this morning and gave it another try. Downloaded in 20 minutes at 3.5MB/s. Don't know if it is the time of day or Citrix fixed their problems, but looking forward to giving it a go when I get home from work tonight.

I gave up for the night. Was only getting 100k/s download speed, would have taken over 10 hours to download. Tested my FIOS internet connection speed and was getting 30m/s so it must be a sharefile problem. I'll try again tomorrow.

Watched it last night. I thought it was a decent action movie. I found the last scene a little hard to believe....An immobilized Sherman crew holding off 300 Germans? But it was entertaining.
