The way they usually do it is to give the people who preordered a few hours head start downloading the game before they open it up to everyone else. The hard goods (DVD and manual) usually ship a couple of weeks after that.

Quite a few Russian visitors to the stream yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Thanks again for doing this Chris. Looking forward the game. If I learned one thing from the stream, it's be very patient or careful with modern weapon systems you can die very fast.

I bought CMSF and the first 2 modules but to be honest I never played them that much. The asymetrical warfare and desert setting just didn't appeal to me that much. But I have been watching ChrisND's youtube vids and I'm really looking forward to CMBS.

+1...I hope too they include some more tiny to small size scenarios that can be completed in an hour or two. I remember the old CMx1 games used to have a website called "Byte Battles" or something like that. Very small sceanarios that were a lot of fun to play. Would love to see something like that for CMx2.
