I agree that the people who post here, the hard-core fans, are probably going to buy just about everything BFC puts out, upgrades and all. But that is only a small percentage of the people that buy BFC products. I'm just wondering whether the more casual fans that don't frequent the forums or website that often will buy the upgrades. A new game is more exciting than an upgrade to an older one. Again, BFC is the only one who can answer whether it is profitable and worth their time to keep upgrading their older games.

I'm beginning to wonder if the upgrading of previous games is such a great idea. I mean it's nice to have the older games updated but it could be slowing down the release schedule quite a bit when BFC has to deal with the upgrades and any problems that might pop up. As more and more games are released, that means more games to be upgraded in the future whenever 4.0 comes out. I guess only BFC could answer whether it is worth their time and effort to keep the older games upgraded continually.

Well they are quickly running out of time for a Christmas release considering it is already late October and the usual 6-8 weeks pre-order period. Plus we usually get more information and an AAR before pre-orders are announced. It is looking more and more like a 2015 release for CMBS.

I know Steve is always a bit optimistic with his predictions, but I did think we would get something new by now. Either a new game or a pack of some sort for the existing games. Been kind of a slow year for BFC. Hope there are no major problems behind the scenes. Who knows, maybe they will surprise us with a couple of releases at the end of the year.

I just watched "The Book Thief" the other night and really enjoyed it. Not really a WWII action movie but great story and performances. Another one that rarely gets mentioned in these lists but I enjoy watching is the old mini-series "The Winds of War" and "War and Remembrance".

Anything that shoots fire. Oh and maybe a German Maus tank.

Black Sea for me. I'm really looking forward to seeing the modern setting again with all the improvements that have been made since CMSF. I hope it's out before the end of the year. Next up for me would be the Bulge game and some winter battles, maybe sometime next year?

*Improved shaders* Are these improved shaders the same ones that are in CMRT? I think the shadows and shaders actually look worse for me in CMRT than in CMFI and CMBN. I hope these are new and improved.

We have enough mainstream type products. I hope you all stick to being fussy and giving us the most realistic tactical game out there.

I read a glowing review of CMBO in my local newspaper many years ago. I think it was shortly after it was released. Even though I don't post very often, I've been visiting the forums and bought most of the games ever since. These games have been a dream come true for an old Avalon Hill boardgamer and model builder

I think everyone is waiting for some news from Battlefront...a patch, version 3 upgrade, Black Sea, something.

I have never tried a WWI game, but I am looking forward to AGEOD's upcoming game...To End All Wars. I think it will be out sometime in August.

Korean War would be interesting too....but I can see where it might not have the appeal to everyone outside of the US.

Stingray you sure you have the toggle set to show all trees? The mod works in that setting, not in the toggle setting to show trunks only.

Just checked in CMFI and it seems to work fine. Thank you Juju for this great mod. I much prefer playing with this than with just the tree trunks showing.

I don't know, I always thought the Panther was superior to the T34/85 although not by a great deal. The problem was there were just not enough of them.
