Good suggestions @Michael Emrys. They have all come up before. The list of suggested names we gave them was really long. I think in the end they used the list to eliminate the obvios though because they picked one we did not suggest. In the end I think the name they chose is a great choice.

Nice, interesting technique. Did you do that work because of what we saw in my buying the farm AAR or did you already know about the blasting bocage taking out hedge hogs?

Actually there is an interesting work around that @rockinharry is possibly aluding to. If you have hedge hogs near bocage and the engineers blast the bocage the blast will also take out the hedge hogs. It happened in the buying the farm AAR I did recently. I think I would want to do some testing before using it and I don't think you could rest assured that it would continue to work in the future either so it might not be a good choice.

For future reference if you have problems downloading the large file contact support. There is some kind of annoying and mysterious glitch involving their service provider but they have alternative ways for those experiencing problems to get the files.

Well that got "interseting" fast. I read @ChrisND's post and then @battlefront's and I thought: cool things have worked as they should - yet again. Someone found something that slipped through the cracks of testing and it was noticed, reported and a fix is in the works. Dude this is a win. I am totally dumfounded as to why your being recognized as finding an issue that will be fix is suddenly a bad thing. Colour me confused.

+1 @sburke Yep, I have privately advocated for using hell banning for these guys who try to get a reaction on these forums. Steve is a give them a chance kinda guy. If it were up to me the banning would come al lot quicker. Honestly though there are a couple of posters here that I would have banned but who actually did get the message and are now contributing posters, critical but contributing. I think that speaks to how much Steve values criticism and decenting opinion. He puts up with way more than I would.

Well I suspect you are not alone but in a very small minority. Steve even relpying is way more than is deserved. ... I don't know what you have been reading but @womble is not the one behaving badly. The trouble with that is the trolls will just start another one or hijack an existing thread. Yeah it is sad really.

I don't know about that. How do you know what realistic bogging is? I feel like the game is fine to play and when driving around in difficult conditions the feeling that disaster could strike is there. I guess I just feel like they have it right. Yeah those fences disappearing would be nice to change. I don't think we will see that for a while but it would be nice. Tracks would be awesome, in mud too and damp grass etc. It sure would be a nice addition. To keep FOW they would almost meet two versions of the battle field one for each player. As one player's units move and see more of the map the terain deformation found could be transferred from one world to the other. Actually that might work, plenty of programming effort there though.

LOL, indeed. +1 I can see that if you don't follow this forum regularly. He has a track record as a troll and many of us are well aware of what he is doing. He is probably the worst kind of troll because he seems to make arguments that you can kind of get but he is a classic goal post mover so you actually cannot really have a discussion with him. I see from your responses to Steve that you are reasonable person you listened to his points agreed he was right in places and stuck to your guns where you disagreed and even agreed to disagree. Excellent your brand of "pushing" for more will fit in just fine. But that is not how these few trolls work. If you bother to read their posts ( I have stopped and will be adding one more to my ignore list) what you will is is an unprincipled negative against anything just for the sake of the reaction type of troll. He has no problem offering "arguments" that contradict himself back and forth and nothing ever satisfies him. In other words a troll. Nice analysis. As usual it sums it up nicely. Trolls should be ignored and banned in that order.

My thought as well although @kevinkin has an interesting way of looking at it too. If the entire town is part of the objective then you have to clear every floor of every building. One broken guy hiding in a corner spoils the objective for you. With the open rectangle you still have to have good control over the town but do not need to go house to house to clear the whole place.

Excellent analogy @Holien. To continue your analogy most places like that that I have been would have a hand full of people who would gladly manhandle such a trouble maker out the front door. That is if the owner didn't ban they character first and have the bouncer send him on his way. And there is the kicker, feel free to go start your own blog / review web site where all your fans can read your wisdom and etc...
