  1. I don't. They can suppress the defenders. The scenario goes much better for the Germans than the real fight did. It is still however fairly challenging for the German side in the game.
  2. Yeah for sure baffled is the word. What I did was basically restrict the battle space so that the German side can really only directly assault the US position. There is enough room to move to semi flank their position but to go do that you have to manoeuvre in exposed locations and the time line is tight. So the incompetence is simulated by restricting choices. In the game the Germans can do far far better than they did in the real battle. The scenario only simulates the first assault so it does not matter so much that the US side ends up in a lot worse shape than in real life. Originally I created a map of the whole valley and the village but it was far to easy for the Germans to do what they should have done - probe forward on a wider front looking for the US positions and then take advantage of where they were not to totally out flank their strong position. So, I released the full map as just a map while the scenario is of only a sub set of that: http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/cm-final-blitzkrieg/cm-final-blitzkrieg-maps/lanzerath-ridge-map/
  3. That would be the battle of Lanzerath Ridge. We have a scenario for that
  4. That's it if you choose Menu | Cease Fire a gain it will ask you if you want to cancel your cease fire. Yes, it works in PBEM - but only if you cancel before it takes effect
  5. No cease fire works in any game. The AI will automatically accept. A human opponent will not be notified in game that cease fire has been set by you so an actual discussion is required. Note, sometimes it takes a few turns in a PBEM game for the cease fire to be recognized. At the very least both sides have to have selected cease fire before a calculating message is displayed but for some unknown reason I have seen the game keep going for a few turns too. No, after a cease fire the VP are calculated just as if the time had run out. It is just like ending the game early. It does not expire but you can cancel it. If you surrender you give your opponent all the objects and unit destroy points. Otherwise scoring is applied as normal. So, lots of victory levels are possible depending on how the scenario points are set up. Winning upon surrendering seems unlikely though. Yep.
  6. Dude don't you still have a few games going with me? Turns please, cmoooon on
  7. FRAPS is working just fine for me on win10. True it will not do normal Windows screen capture on Windows 10 but I never used it for that on win7. Windows 10 is pretty much the same as win7 and I am using the same anti tracking techniques and software as I was on win7.
  8. The new sanctions have nothing to do with there being no hope for detente. The leadership of North Korea has repeatedly not lived up to its agreements and frequently refused to even meet to discuss issues. The fact that there is no hope for discussion is entirely North Korea's doing.
  9. The Blitz is running two scenarios this month. Sign up for the August Scenario of the Month has started over at the Blitz. This month the scenarios are: CMFB What's up with That 1B CMRT No Name Bridge The form post on theBlitz for sign up.

  11. There is one other thing you could try - ammo dump near by. Check and see if an ammo dump has .50cal ammo in it. And if it does you can position the quad .50 near it and see if the crew automatically draws ammo from it. Actually another could work to: Ammo sharing can only happen between units in the same platoon. So another thing you could so is assign some .50cal teams from the specialist team menu to the same platoon as the quad .50. Then when the quad gun runs out and the .50cal team is near by they should automatically get ammo from the .50cal team.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Frequently people find opponents here so hopefully you will (sorry I cannot volunteer since I have to many going right now as it is:-). If you don't or you want more here is a thread that discusses various clubs around where you can find players: Over on the blitz there is a how to PBEM thread: http://www.theblitz.org/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=61497 Most people use Head to Head helper but you can also use Whose Turn Is It - the links are in my signature.
  13. Yes, typically if the same type of vehicle or unit appears in other titles the mods will work. The thing to watch for though is are they really the same - there are various varieties of PzIVs and not all of them will be in all titles due to timelines etc.? Also uniform naming changed with one of the engine upgrades so there are some mods for earlier versions of CMBN that don't work even in newer versions of CMBN - just watch for that.
  14. Yes. But I guess I never tried it on a sloped roof. May have to go back and modify my TACSOP for sloped roofs.......... Excellent thanks. I can see it not working for sloped roofs because the purpose of breaching a wall is to get into the next building but you can never do that from a attic.
  15. To blast a wall you need to plot the blast move command such that the team goes through the wall, along the wall or directly towards the wall. I have seen a team breach from the x floor of one building to the same floor of an adjoining building. Typically in a building you only have one action square so you cannot place a blast move order along a wall or directly towards a wall. I don't think you can blast an upper floor wall away.
  16. Naw my 400lb neighbour who lives in his mothers basement and never leaves the house could do it.
  17. Are you sure? The formula for finding the area of a sphere is A=4πr2. You may have been right the first time. Its volume that matters. V = 4/3(πr3) So it is cubed.
  18. LOL I figured you did that on purpose. Lots of people don't realize that the Commonwealth forces pronounce it differently so selling it "wrong" seems clever actually. Mind you readers of these forums are probably more likely to know.
  19. For those that don't have a web site they host and who might be looking at imgur and thinking that's complicated, here is a list of other alternatives: http://postimages.org/ https://imgbox.com/ http://www.ultraimg.com/ https://cubeupload.com/ https://vgy.me/ https://imageshack.us/ http://picorator.com/ https://photos.google.com/
  20. It is only true for bunkers. @LongLeftFlank is incorrect - I have no idea where he got that idea from.
  21. I do not think there should be any difference here. Warrior to Elite cleans up some icons for spotted enemy so FOW is preserved better in Elite. Elite to Iron makes friendly units have to spot other friendlies and it has been shown Iron tightens up C2 a little. The information being shared here is not covered by those differences so I would not expect any difference between the three. Yes, this ^^^
  22. Ah thanks for clarifying. Yeah, he said it will delay things. Which is a bummer for sure.
