I don't think there has been any testing around this. A long time ago there was a bug where those automatic ditches caused more bogging then expected - long ago fixed. The thing about bogging is some terrain (mud) are clearly risky but any of them can cause a problem especially if the ground is wet. To find out the differences you would have to do a lot of testing. My personal guess is you see no difference but I don't *know* that.

Note quite. The morale status is linear but the shaken and panic states are temporary and can happen from any state once the unit is done being shaken or panicked they go back to a - usually worse - morale state: OK -> Cautious -> Nervious -> Rattled -> Broken \ / / Shaken Shaken \ / Panic

OK if your CMBN shows version 4 then it should have all the modules on your HD and all you need to do is activate the CW module with the key. LOL this thread now has a high chance to take a nose dive once the usual suspects show up. The bottom line is the choice would be no upgrades and CMBN (as an example) would have never had new features added and just be left behind just the way CMBO was. The upgrade mechanism means that CMBN is just as modern a game as CMFB is. You pay a small amount and the old games get the new features they added in newer games. I completely fail to understand these objections. No one is making anyone buy the upgrade if you don't like the features don't by. Many of us who are happy the upgrade is offered - as I said the alternative is to leave the old games old. Please understand that we like to have the choice to buy - and you also have the choice to skip buying.

Yeah, I hope it is not a problem that goes on for years and years. We had a lot of news coverage of the experience of states that legalized in the run up to our new law. Lots of really interesting issues were brought up. Another one is testing for impaired driving since there is no agreed upon test like there is for alcohol consumption. I heard an interview with a medical marijuana user that pointed out that her usage meant that she could manage her pain and go back to work but with her usage she trips the test for impaired driving even if she hasn't consumed the past 24 hours. So, legalization for her might mean no job any more. In Canada we just passed a law that says that police no longer need a reasonable suspicion that someone is impaired before demanding samples for impaired driving. I can see all kinds of unintended consequences coming out of that - plus likely constitutional challenges too. We are going to see years of interesting problems and court case come out of this. Oh and just for some added fun the Leader of the Opposition Conservative party will not commit publicly that he will not roll the whole thing back should he win the election in 2019. I personalty think he wouldn't dare because some former high flyers in his party are now running multi million dollar pot businesses. But you never know. Fun times.

Yeah, I'm more worried about the issues that Colorado has with smuggling "legal" pot grown there to other states where its not legal. I think we'll see that from Canada and perhaps Michigan will see the same. That probably will not settle down until all 64 continental states and provinces are in sync (49 states and 13 provinces and territories).

They'll start growing them in the basement, that's what they are doing here in Colorado. Up here there has been some reporting on the expected increase in food prices this winter. One of the pressures is that companies are switching their use of green houses over to growing marijuana instead of veggies. Unintended side effects.

Who allows people to update games bought a decade ago? I've got all mine right back to the first CMBN (and some from Adobe Photoshop that are even older than that). Yay Steve

I'm not sure how that is tracked. It could be that the store knows (incorrectly) that you don't have a copy of the first game. I recommend opening a support ticket - they can get you sorted out.

If you have an nVida card you can also use the builtin recorder that is part of the GeForce Experience app.

No but I can inform the boss of your predicament and he might be able to connect the dots. May I suggest looking in your spam folder just in case the emails are ending up there. I personally just ran into this with another site.

I'm not keen on it (but play on iron about half the time because I have opponents who are). My complaint is the extra clicks that are needed and the slight disorientation I feel when I click on a unit and the bulk of my force disappears off the map But hey you cannot get the benefit that @sburke mentions without the pain that I don't like so there ya go.

Yeah things have changed. Back in v1 when you first bough the game you had to install the game and then install each module on top of it. Starting with upgrade 3 BFC started doing things differently. Now when you buy the game you download the full install - everything and then you can activate the game and any modules you bought. So, in your case if you have the CMBN Commonwealth bundle and you are upgraded to v4 then you should download the full v4 installer (what you have now is likely pooched) and once you have installed you will need (I think from my memory) your original bundle key, and the v4 upgrade key. After entering those you should be up and running. Licensing issues are something you need to ask support for (https://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/) but several of us here can help with overall process questions - since we have been through it too.

Yuck. You can log into the help desk and check on tickets directly there. If for some reason email is not getting through you can see responses there. Log in and click on your profile (next to the new button) and choose My Tickets. Then you can see a list of open or closed tickets. From there you should be able to see support's responses and hopefully add you own comments.

The plan that lead to Red Thunder and finishing the war came form the realization that it would be less work to create a game covering the end of the war first since they already had a lot of the German vehicles modelled. Back then Steve articulated the plan that each year of the Eastern front would be a game with a module or two and that BFC would create said games in reverse order. So, earlier years are definitely on their road map. None of that has been specifically announced yet though.
