  1. Just tried a PBEM vs myself and none of my guard tanks were missing. Let me know if you can get it too happen again.
  2. And that's a good thing tm Which means you don't have to worry when you buy that next month there will be a better price. And it also means when you are ready buy since waiting longer is not going to help.
  3. They are more likely to scamper off if the have a gap and leave behind the traps and destruction to abuse and fight again somewhere else.
  4. @Bozowans's over all description is spot on: just need a slight adjustment to the above. Given that most H2H only scenarios do not have any AI plans at all "not very challenging" is the understatement of the century
  5. Yes, you will. I am sorry to say that both @MOS:96B2P and @Sgt.Squarehead have it wrong. When you reload the saved game you are getting the same AI plan every time. When you think about it it makes sense. If your side is getting pre battle intel then the other side's setup has to be done therefore the AI plan must be chosen. To verify I created a simple scenario with two AI plans for red - one had the T90s coming up the eastern side of the map and the other coming up the western side. I created a save during blue's setup and played the setup 6 times - every time the came up the same side. There is a 1/64 ish chance of that happening When I start the game a fresh each time I see a variety of the two attack plans. Scenario and save attached... PlanChoice.zip
  6. I cannot do anything with threads. That issue is different than this one. The one in the linked thread has been logged. This changing maps dropping selected forces problem is different. It is very likely not the same problem and needs a separate report in the bug list.
  7. It does. @professionalXMAZ can you and your opponents show screen shots of the QB params, each side's force selection and in game missing stuff?
  8. Actually that is supposed to work. The player with just the base module should be able to use base game factions and units and their opponent should be able to use what ever units they have access too.
  9. Yeah. I think you are reading the closest thing to it but these forums are more like 40 000 pages.
  10. Depends. Especially on the US side (maybe not so much for Ukraine?) If a spotter has a satellite link, via PDA or vehicle, the spotter can call for artillery fire on any area observed by any friendly UAV. ^^^ This is really cool to use for Blue. For calling artillery I try to use an FO, especially the one in a dedicated observation vehicle, to use a drone. Then I use that FO to call precision artillery and you can use others (personally I use this CO mostly for this) to call non precision strikes that are observable by the drone. The reason for that is the FO gets the full spotting information from the drone and can therefore make calls that strike a vehicle. The CO gets '?' info from the drone which is plenty to call small - or big - circular or linear fire missions. Rinse and repeat while there is still stuff moving and rounds to fire.
  11. Yeah. 15% CPU is approx one core, you know what I am about here And since CM is only using one core* that's nearly maxed out. * There are a few places where multiple cores are used but that is during loading and initializing not during play - from what we have been told.
  12. Nice I looked on CM Mods and my own HD - it is not in either place.
  13. Cool. Where do those files endup on the PC - I uninstalled Reshader so I cannot dig for them myself. Clearly when I do try again I will but if you know where the end up you can save me some time
  14. Windows 10, with what I think are the latest drivers (updated two weeks ago) GeForce 417.22 for the GTX 1050. Sadly since I installed the reshader the log files are gone too. Drat. Perhaps I'll try again at some point and check those out.
  15. Well look at that. I have all of Aris's mods and I just figured it was there somewhere but its not. He must have missed that one.
  16. OK I think base game only qualifies as the same bug. The issues seems to be the auto select is picking stuff it should not be available.
  17. Well that didn't work. The game will not start after the install. Bummer. Is there any known issues with installing on a note book?
  18. Can I ask do you own all the modules? If you do not then this has been reported already.
  19. It is difficult to tell. Most DRM systems take a snapshot of system information - CPU, GPU, HD ids so it can tell if you try to move it to a new machine. Most of them have a tolerance for hardware upgrades. Most of that system is a mystery and some people report being able to change things easily and others say they tweaked on little thing and the DRM freaked out. The good news is fixing it is as simple as reactivating. And if that doesn't go smoothly the help desk can get you sorted. Go for it SSD drives are awesome.
  20. My understanding is that this is how things are IRL. However the game does not do this - to avoid the inevitable "why was the tank running around with a clearly wrong munition in the breach, surely the TC should have know X" posts. The game behaves as if the round in the gun is the one the TC wants. Which is why you have not seen the above scenario. Call it Schrödinger's ammo.
  21. Wow that blurred background that makes it look like a camera took the picture is really nice. I personally don't like all this yucky colour filtering that people are using reshade for - heck I don't like movie mode (yes, I like the true to life colours from CMBN :-). Is it possible to use reshade to get the depth of field effect without messing with the colour rendering?
