  1. No problem. I am glad to have figured out what you were looking at. Sorry for not figuring it out sooner. I should pay some attention to that part of the UI I have begun to ignore.
  2. Ah. But as you can see from that scale (which has to include lightly armoured vehicles) there is no way they can represent the differences between various variants of protection. So, that number of shields measurement is really really rough. There can be of difference between two five shield tanks. The various tank armour *is* modelled in the game. If you follow the suggestions that @IICptMillerII and @MikeyD made and pit various tanks against each other you will see the difference.
  3. Yep when you surrender you give up all occupy objectives to your opponent.
  4. Submitting a ticket is a good idea. My I suggest that you try your QB but turn off all the auto select features and pick all the settings and forces yourself. Just to see if that works and it might get you going while any bugs are tracked down.
  5. I just looked up RivaTuner. It is possible that since one of its features is monitoring they might trigger the DRM's anti tampering features. For the same reason you cannot run a debugger or some other process monitors. Just a theory.
  6. Where are you getting that from? I know that BFC puts a lot of work in modelling the protection of each tank variant. As I said I'm not an expert so I might not recognize if the protection is unexpected but I do know the intention is to model the differences. Can you elaborate - looked at what?
  7. I'm no tank expert but the game does model the armour that each variant of each tank has. At least a close as BFC can tell. My understanding is that the Leo A6 is fairly comparable to the M1s of the day, in terms of protection. What are you seeing that you find surprising?
  8. Ouch I don't recognize that error. I am running Win10 now but also run the games from a secondary drive - I did the same in Win7 too. So, what you are doing should work. I think you should open a new support ticket and see if they can help.
  9. LOL you reminded me because you know I'm still locked out - very cheeky
  10. Yes. If by yes you mean I collected them all and tried about a third of them personally. Others have tried others. If you run into one that will not load an play* then let us know. * play means run and work there is no guarantee you will enjoy it or that it will be an experience consistent with running it in the old version.
  11. I interpreted it to mean that he is frustrated that he cannot play the game yet. That is a pain. To be fair, yes maintaining logins is par for the course these days but if I may compare to another company I deal with: Phase One. I use their software Capture One for photography. Phase One has a web page with a store, a support portal and a user to user forum. Sounds familiar. My log in for that is all the same. Just my email and a password. So, Phase One makes me manage one set of log in credentials not three.
  12. I am sure a video would be OK but all we really need is a screen shot of the QB screen just before clicking OK - so we know what forces were selected and what was on automatic vs human selected. Oh and what modules you have might factor into as @MikeyD suggested.
  13. Iron is a skill level. See "Skill Levels" in "CM Engine Manual v4.00.pdf" pp 31. Short version is that lower levels make calling artillery and getting intel on enemy units easier. Iron also displays friendly units as ? icons when you have one of your units selected. It is very good for letting you know what a particular friendly unit's perspective of the battle field is.
  14. Awesome @Pete Wenman! Here is the link for it: http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=7522 To get it to work create a scenario and tag it with [squalor] and with those mods in place you will see the mess.
  15. Bummer that is a pain. It will work out in the end.
  16. Ooops sounds like you are hitting this too - open a support ticket and they will get you sorted.
  17. Sounds like you are hitting what Steve is describing above. Open a support ticket and either way they will get you sorted out.
  18. @SapperHarvey seems pretty out of it - are you staying up all night playing the game? Get some sleep man - good thing @PIATpunk and @domfluff are catching those slip ups.
  19. Excellent - will they be tagged? That way they will not mess up exiting maps but allow the creation of cool urban settings.
  20. Yep, while I am sure not every old scenario got a run though - I know never got through the whole list - the number of issues dropped to zero pretty fast. It is possible there will be a surprise so hollar if you hit one.
  21. Humm so the civilian density is coming from the map. Maybe that is ok since a high civilian density forest or desert Hills would be a bit weird. There are limitations on forces in QBs and the faction choices in shock force make that awkward. So, not every thing can be addressed to everyone's satisfaction.
