sdp, I'm very glad to hear BFC asked you to contribute maps for CMFI. I have enjoyed your Italian Campaign Mod for almost a year, and the Italy map packs you did for CMBN are superb...I'm playing SP QB on one now. I was wondering how/if I could import them to CMFI. No worries now! Cheers!

It doesn't't appear that your are at his mercy, RCMP. You request--no doubt with a Request Button, and he must accept it when prompted, at which poit the games pauses for both people? if he refuses, then no pause. I'm speculating, but it is clear there haven't been any problems with the beta testers, so there must be some mutual pause or there is pause for either.

Fraps is extremely easy to use. Find your angle/subject in CMBN Review mode, press F10 (default key for Fraps to record) Press F10 again when you're done recording. Easy-peasy.

Did I miss something? BFC is doing Italy...Husky plus (essentially) Shingle and Avalanche and the drive up both coasts and the Liri Valley, to Rome and beyond. Not enough content for one game???:confused:

I just tried that out this morning, c3K, in order to determiune if my barrage was falling short, or if my oppo was shelling me at the same time. Peosel, use your mouse wheel very slowly when you start getting in close, then use your zoom in key ("X"?) so that the camera won't "go past" it.

Not that I've tested it out, but that only seems to happen if it is combined with a HIDE command.

OK, when is the demo scheduled to be released? I am getting very pumped about this release.

My only concern is that the Italian uniforms without shaders looked better than the pic with shaders on--which made the unis look darker. I didn't notice alot of difference with the Paratroopers uniforms...are some colors possibly affected more than others?

viajero, yes, I think you took it out of context. Steve appears to be talking about the gaming community in general, paying for "patches". Regardless, Steve has clarified this in other threads, and the key in Steve's comment is this: "On our side we get freed up to make other stuff, we get some revenue from the Upgrade itself to put towards the next game, and avoids the "race to the bottom" price discounting for prior releases whenever a new one comes out."

Mord, there might be a problem. Those feathers have to be part of the 3D model, so you can't move it around on the helmet to get the camo effects. The British para helmets had a little cloth strip sticking out just a bit IIRC, and when copied and posted to another area, it just looked painted on. Or am I missing something?
