  1. Just starting a thread about this campaign for anyone playing it. Paper Tiger, why the strict casualty limits, <10% I know that worked for CMSF but don't know if that's appropriate for battling in the bocage.
  2. Just a bit of advice after I was caught out. Once a minefield is identified by a red sign after half a squad is killed by them, get engineers into an action square opposite the mines, then the 'mark mines' button becomes available. Use this to then target mines. Caution needs to be used once the mine signs change from red to a khaki like colour, because your troops can still be killed unless they move through that area using the slow command. This can be moved to a tactics thread when it opens.
  3. I'm sure AKD has got something in store for us regarding weapons, explosions etc. Mord will hopefully put a new CMBN US voices up soon.
  4. Not sure about the best way to find MP opponents. You can time different actions in turn base through the pause command, this can be applied to waypoints as well so you can have someone run somewhere after 15 seconds, then area fire for 20 seconds from another waypoint, then move on etc. (if that's what your asking).
  5. I don't seem to be able to choose US Airborne troops in QB's any ideas? Edit: worked out they are not available in August.
  6. Download time went from 1 hour to 5 in a few minutes anyone else getting bad speeds as well? I thought Moon said using the cloud would mean it dosen't matter how many people were downloading speed wouldn't be effected?

  12. Scottie, I think there are several different AI plans because I've had the Panthers attack down the flanks after a while which actually made them more vulnerable to tube guys.
  13. Hey mate, Good to see your keeping up our standard from the preview day. Start by laying down a heavy artillery mission on the village to stun the defenders. At the same time lay down a smoke barrage with your mortars infront of the town allowing the panzergrenadiers a chance to rush into good positions close to the village. When the Panthers arrive get them in hull down positions on the hill on the left side of the map and let them wait there and kill the US armour as it arrives. The armoured cars can be brought into the wooded area infront of the town for fire support. Following these basic tactics you should win easily, I didn't really need the Marders.
  14. I've heard the release will be around 1.5 GB, but they should have it set up a bit better than the demo.
  15. Marco, any chance of making a version with the yellow background for the wounded troops toned down a bit in saturation? It's seems very bright to me and a bit distracting to the eyes when you have lots of wounded in a squad. Excellent work btw.
  16. I'm curious about a similar issue at the start of the busting bocage scenario I put all the mortar crews around the company HQ who has a radio. But during the mission the platoon HQ's can only contact their own platoon mortars via the company HQ even though the other platoons mortar crews are right next to them it says 'out of contact' or whatever. Is this realistic? Is it a hard rule that the HQ of one platoon are strictly forbidden from requesting fire support from the other platoon via the Company Commander?

  18. I'm curious about this as well, if the game is ready but your still waiting for printed manuals, dvds or whatever does that hold up the download date?
  19. I thought the editor was fully functional yet I don't seem to be able to see any bridges I place when I go to 3D Preview. Also Fog and Mist just send the sky black. Just wondering if it's a bug with my system or those features aren't included in the demo? NVidia GTX 460 SE CPU i7 960 @ 3.2 6 GB RAM
  20. Crew experience and morale state has a fair bit to do with how well they perform, both Panthers are confident veterans IIRC.
